The revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave unto Him,to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass,and He send and signified it by His angel unto His servant John,who bare record of the Word of God,and of the testimony of Jesus Christ,and of all things that he saw..Blessed is he that readeth,and they that hear the words of this prophecy,and keep those things which are written there in for the time is at hand"
The apostle John wrote the book of revelations to relate the visions he was privileged to see and hear on a certain Lord,s day about the year 95 A.D.The apostle had lived and worked in an about Ephesus for some time before he was exiled for his faith to the island of Potmos.While on the island John saw and heard in visions the content of the book of Revelations. From the text we see that the visions and John,s writings were simultaneous: through out the book John was commanded to write: i.e,
1:11,19,3:1:14;19:9,21:5
The Greek used in writing Revelations is more excellent than that used in the Gospel of John.This would support the late date of its writing[95 A.D.] in that,by the end of his life Johns greek could have improved considerably

The book of Revelations was written specifically to the seven churches of Asia Minor but generally to all Christians everywhere....
In the study of Revelations we will be looking at the following divisions:
I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me.And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands,and among the lampstands was someone "like a son of man"
1...Christ message to the Seven Churches-Chapters 1-3
2...The vision of the Throne -Chapters 4 and 5
3...The tribulation time-Chapters 6-19
4...The Millennium and Final Judgment-chapter 20
5...The New Heaven and The New Earth-chapters 21 and 22.

: JESUS MESSAGE TO THE SEVEN CHURCHES:
CHAPTER 1
Grace and peace to you from Him who is and who was and who is to come,and from the seven spirits" before His throne,and from JESUS CHRIST who is the faithful wittness ,the first born from the dead,and the ruler of the kings of the earth
To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins,by His blood and has made us to be a Kingdom and Preists; to serveHis God and Father-to Him be Glory and Power forever and ever"-Amen"
LOOK He is coming with the cloud,
And every eye will see Him,
Even those who pierced Him,
And all the peoples of the earth will
mourn because of Him... SO SHALL IT BE!.."Amen"

I Am the Alpha and the OMEGA,
Who Is, and Who was ,
And Who is to come,THE "ALMIGHTY"

One Like a Son of Man..

I John,your brother and companion in the suffering and Kingdom patient endurance that are ours in Jesus,was on the Island of Potomos because of the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus.On the Lords Day I was in the Spirit,and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet,"Which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches:to Ephesus,Smyrna,Pergamum,Thyatira,Sardis,,Philadelphia,and,Laodicea." I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me.And when I turned I saw seven Golden lampstands . And among the lampstands was someone"like a son of man', dressed in a robe reaching down to His feet and with a golden sash around his chest.His head and hair were white like wool,as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire.His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters.In His right hand He held seven stars.and out of His mouth came a sharp double-edged sword.His face was like the sun shining in all its brillance.
When I saw Him I fell at His feet as though dead.And then He placed His right hand on me and said, "Do not be afraid I am the First and the Last I am the Living One,I was dead and behold I am alive forever and ever." And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
Write therefore what you have seen,what is now and what will take place later. The mystery of the seven stars you see in my right hand,and of the seven golden lampstands is this,"The Seven Stars are The Angels of the Seven Churches,and the seven lampstands are the seven churches...

NOTE..Chapter1 verse13 ..is a familar title
REVELATIONS.. original readers would have recognized this
description lmmediately for Jesus used the
title,"Son Of Man" about 90 times in the Gospels.
The phrase first appears in the book of
Daniel Chapter7.verse13.Introducing the
Messiah who would rule all history ..
