| music. well. i can divide it into two categories: stuff i listen to (which is what i'm sure you'll be interested in), and stuff i play (which, if you are interested in, means you are a sad freak). i might as well start off with the best first, so here goes... my favourite bands are: Blur, the Barenaked Ladies, Sugar Ray, Vertical Horizon, Coldplay, Stereophonics, Oasis (ok, ok, so they're mad now, but their old albums are great), and the Verve (i'm half a mind about them now). They are all the BEST!!!!! I love them all so much that i tend to quote lyrics from them, you might find some hidden about the sught here. I also (very occasionaly) listen to some pop stuff, robbie (who did not deserve to get 4 brit awards for that one song), and emm sonique. (shhh don't tell). i did say occasionally. my top songs are (not in this order): "Yellow", "Trouble", "Shiver", "Everything's Not Lost" by Coldplay. "Light Up My Room", "Some Fantastic", "Alcohol", "It's All been done" by the barenaked ones. (sigh!). "Girls and Boys", "End of a Century", "Stereotypes", "Song 2", "Parklife" by Blur. "Someday", "Personal Space Invader", "Ode to the Lonely Hearted", and of course "Every Morning"- Sugar Ray. "Everything You Want," "Finding Me", "You're A God", "You Say" by Vertical Horizon. (oh yeah). "A Thousand Trees", "Local Boy In Photograph" by Stereophonics (i really gotta listen to that album more). "D'you KNow What I Mean?", "Magic Pie", "Girl in the Dirty Shirt", "All Around the World" by Oasis. "Bitter Sweet Symphony" by the Verve (told you i was half a mind about them. whatever happened to them anyway?) oh my god i can't believe i wasted all that time spewing out my favourite songs. OH WELL. and for the second section. i play the flute. that's about it. i'm not that good (i'm shite actually) and i haven't practiced for 2 weeks. and the concert is next saturday. oh shit. |
