THE MONEY MYSTERY

It was a rainy afternoon in D.C. They were listing to radio in their Jetta
on the way to a friend’s house. Their friends name was Jake. Jake had been owing
them alot of money for a while now.
“The DC bank workers owe the bank alot of money” said the radio. When
they got there, they got out. There was no light inside of the house but they knocked
anyways.
“Hello,” one of them called through the mail slot. He knocked again. They
stood there 10 minutes motionless without any movement. The door did not move at
all. After about 3 more minutes they go tierd and said “Lets go in and check it out.”
They opened the door silently and stepped in. It was completely dark inside. All the
tables were overturned and dressers were fallen down. One of them flipped on a
switch. There was a dim light now. They looked all over. Then they looked down
and saw Jakes dead body on the ground.
“He’s dead,” one of them said. “I am going to go phone the police.” When he
got ot the phone he dialed the number. Ring Ring...... Ring Ring.... and then the
phone connection cut. “The wire has been cut. And just now too.” He hung up the
phone and walked out but the other one stopped him. “Wait, lets go get the money
he owed us.”
They walked over to the secret wall he kept his money in. The wall had been
sliced open and ripped out along with half of the other walls. The money was not
there at all.
“Well, I’ll go get the cell phone while you look for clues. I am going to go
phone the police and the hospital.” He opened the door and headed out. he saw a
black hooded figure running accross the lawn. He continued to walk to the car, but
he was following. He opened up one door and got out his cell phone. Then he
noticed the man running toward him. He ran towards the man with the phone,
trying to knock away the phone. The man kept the phone away, while dialing. He
called the police for help and then the man backed away and ran. He ran into Jakes
Ford Explorer with the lisense plate 364A9HC. He picked that up right away. Then
the man in the car drove away. Then the police then came. He told about the man
and he lisense plate number and then about Jake and the cut off on the phone at
Jakes. The police called the hospital and then went in the house. Then the two men
got back into the car and drove away. “You know his ID was missing” one of them
said to the other.

The next day was going to be a busy day for the two men. They had alot of
errands to do for their bussiness. While at lunch break, an armored truck came by.
“I’ve been robbed!” wailed the trucker. Inspecting the old red antique style armored
truck, they found a pair of finger prints and the back was not opened by any sort of
pick. “I frogot to lock the back of my truck, and he just came in and robbed the
money!” wailed the man. He went inside while the other one went to make a report
on his cell phone. Inside there was no sign of gold at all. He went back to the
outside to take fingerprint records, but he couldn’t find them. “They were erased,”
the man reported. Then he went to join his friends at the bakery until the next trip at
the bank.
A half a hour later they openede the bank door. No one was at the counter, so
they looked around. The bank had food to eat for cnsumers so they ate some more.
After ten minutes, he rang the service bell. He looked at the register. It typed: Last
consumer, Jake Carter, lisence plate # 364A9HC. One took a step outside and got
smashed in the head. He was knocked out, and no one was near anymore.
The hospital came again. This time he phoned the police saying that it was
the bank. He knew this because while his friend was eating he saw all the money
was gone.
“The bank was guitly for stealing the money. The bank workers were not at
the bank when they were in service hours. They owed the bank quite a bit of money
that they stole off of Jake. The bank knew where the money was stashed because it
said so in the car. The amored car was just a through off, and the fingerprints were
whiped to clear any evidence while we were calling and searching the car. Inside
the bank I saw the latest consumer was Jake Reed, thats who he robbed off of. He
got the ID from Jake who then took the card to access his storage account, that they
used to stash money in. Thats why the money was gone,” and that concluded the
report to the officer.
