All day they waited for it to rain
but it didn't. Finally some big
clouds came floating by
and it
began to
sprinkle.
THe sun went down
suddenly it began to rain hard.
There was a loud crashing noise and
Squirt Zapp ran and hid under the bed.
Baby Zapp ran after her trying
to pull her out but Squirt wasn't
budging.
Finally Mama came in and
explained lightning and thunder to
the children.
She took them to look
out
the window and they could see
big flashes of light. 
Squirt was
still scared but felt better with her
mother right there.
Baby Zapp loved
watching the flash in the sky and
then hearing the clap of thunder.
"Sometimes lightning causes a fire"
said Mother. Baby Zapp shuddered at
the thought.
"Do not worry,
children" said
Mama. 
"Eventually
the sun will always come out." and
then she laughed and hugged the
Zappers.
