6/20/99
Sting vs. Sid Vicious with Randy Savage and The Entourage Savage's assistance led to a grueling offensive run from Vicious, who treated the Stinger to lariats and multiple kicks to the head. When Stinger rebounded with a trademark splash, Savage entered the ring. Team Madness pummeled Sting, until Luger made save. Madness and Sid threatened Sting and the Package, but refused to enter the ring.

Rick Steiner took on Sting in a match that made news more for what happened at the end, which turned out to be a no contest. Steiner and Sting brawled in the ring and then went outside. Sting hit a big suplex on the rampway on Rick, and then they brawled past the WCW.com location and went into the back. When they went through the curtain, Tank Abbott and Scott Steiner were waiting. Abbott choked Sting with a towel as Scott Steiner sent two Doberman Pinschers on Sting. He got the towel from Abbott and defended himself. Scott then turned a Rottweiler loose on him, and the picture faded to black. Shortly thereafter, Rick and Scott came back out to the ring and said that this was a falls count anywhere match, and Sting was pinned in the back. They said that it was too graphic to be shown on PPV. After the ref raised Rick's hand, Scott threw the ref out of the ring. The Steiners said that they are too tough for WCW.
*BEFORE THE MATCH
6/7/99
WCW aired Nitro live from the campus of Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio last night. This was the last Nitro before the Great American Bash PPV this Sunday, so the Macho Man Randy Savage turned up the heat before his match with Kevin Nash in Baltimore.
The show opened as a white limousine with Randy Savage and his entourage pulled up in the back. Savage had the driver take the lid off of a bucket, which had some very vile contents in it. Savage was looking for Kevin Nash, and wanted to share the contents with the WCW champ.
A little later in the show, Savage and company came out to the ring. Bischoff told us that he heard through his headsets that Savage had "sewage" with him. Savage took the microphone and said that Nash was not in the building and ran him down. He said he was going to take him out at the Bash this weekend. Savage said that his "sewage" was from last week at the Astrodome and since Nash is not there, he challenged anyone to come and fight him. Also, he would dump the bucket over their head to symbolically send a message to Nash. Sting then came out from the back and took up Savage's challenge. He said he would wrestle Savage later tonight. Savage accepted and said he was he going to get Sting.
Shortly after this segment, we saw a clip from last week where Nash gave Savage and company a septic truck shower in Savage's limo. Then, Nash came to the ring. Nash had a bag with him, and said he had his gear. He told Savage he was ready to take him on right now. Savage then came out, carrying his "sewage" in hand. Nash exited the ring, leaving the bag behind. While Savage jawed with Nash, the bag started moving. A girl made her way out of the bag and dumped the "sewage" on Savage's head while he had his back turned!
Later in the show, at 10 p.m., Nash was leaving the building when all of Savage's women were in a limo. They asked him to hop in with them. He was hesitant, but then agreed to get in after the girls got out to show him that Savage was not inside. He got in, and they laughed at him. The limo took off, and Savage was behind the wheel. He pulled the limo up next to a steel dumpster and then had someone in a humvee repeatedly rammed the limo, leaving Nash injured in the limo.
*THE MATCH
Sting beat Randy Savage by DQ. Gorgeous George attacked Sting before the bell, and Miss Madness and Madusa interfered during that match as well. On top of that, Savage threw powder in Sting's face. Then, for no reason, Savage snapped and attacked ref Johnny Boone and nailed him with a piledriver. Mickey Jay came out and called for the DQ and Savage hit him as well. Sting came back and went to hit the Stinger Splash on Savage, but he pulled Miss Madness in front of him. Sting tried again, and Savage pulled Madusa in front of him. Sting finally got Savage and ran him off. The Steiner brothers came out and attacked Sting until Lex Luger made the save.

TV Title Match in a Steel Cage Special Guest Referee -- Tank Abbott From the beginning, Abbott clearly wanted to watch the carnage, up-close, without doing too much officiating -- including refusing to make several counts. Sting commanded control early, but a missed Stinger Splash sent the former World Champion into the steel cage. Steiner muscled his painted foe, but Sting returned with several standing dropkicks. But when Sting attempted another splash, Abbott changed his stance and aided Rick Steiner. The UFC Fighter struck Sting, allowing Rick an opportunity to tape Sting's hands to the ropes and beat him ferociously. Abbott refused to shake Steiner's hand and left the ring.
5/17/99
Rick Steiner and Sting went to a no contest. Rick Steiner then was in the ring waiting for Booker T. Booker's music played but Booker did not come out. They cut to the back, where Booker had been attacked and was laying on the floor. Rick called Booker a coward for not coming out and asked anyone else to come out and fight him. Sting accepted, and the crowd loved it. Billy Silverman said that the match was for the TV Title. The early part of the match saw the two men evenly matched. When Sting got the upper hand, Scott Steiner came out to ringside. Lex Luger then came into the ring and evened up the sides and the four men were left at a stand off as the show went to a commercial break. But with the talk of The Steiners and Luger becoming a stable, I am expecting Luger to Turn on Sting sometime in the future. But still I am glad he helped the Stinger.
5/9/99
Sting v. Goldberg Slamboree 99' Winner: No Contest Goldberg had control early, but Sting turned things around with a dropkick to Goldberg's knee. Sting continued to work on Goldberg's lower body. Goldberg missed a spear and hit the turnbuckle, and Sting hit two Stinger Splashes. After Goldberg began to turn things around, Bret Hart came to ringside and attacked Goldberg with a chair. The Steiner Brothers came to ringside and attacked Sting. The Steiners continued to attack both Sting and Goldberg as the match ended.

Sting defeated Diamond Dallas Page in World Title Match After several tests of strength, Page briefly took control with a sidekick, but Sting quickly recovered and -- after a Stinger Splash -- almost applied the Scorpion Deathlock. The World Champion took a breather and regained control, but Sting ejected him from the ring after an attempted Diamond Cutter. The match then gravitated to the arena floor, where Sting delivered his opponent into the steel rails repeatedly. Page rebounded, however, with cheap shots and thuggery, and kept control for the first time in the bout. But when the Champ attempted another ringpost figure-four -- the move that broke Hollywood Hogan's leg -- Page was launched into the steel rail. Stinger came back with a free-form bulldog and off-the-top body splash, but Page still managed to regain control. A few moment later, it was Sting again, with a series of piledrivers. Page still survived and even regained momentum. But it was Sting who would be victorious. When Page attempted the Diamond Cutter out of the corner, Sting countered with a Scorpion Death Drop. Sting was your winner.
Kevin Nash comes to the ring and he wants a 4 way match for the belt tonight! DDP Sting Nash and Goldberg: NO DISQUALIFICATION!!! Sting accepts and agrees to put the title on the line.
Diamond Dallas Page d. Kevin Nash, Goldberg and Sting No Disqualification World Title Match One of the most memorable main events in Nitro history, this four-way dance saw all of its competitors coming close to victory... but only DDP would close the deal. Page started the match wisely, allowing his 3 opponents to battle while he waited on the outside. But soon the quartet were all exchanging punches and power moves. Sting delivered multiple splashes; Nash floored all three men with consecutive Mafia kicks. As the match neared its finish, it was Golberg with the decided advantage. The phenom Speared and Jackhammered Sting but, before a pin could be registered, Randy Savage intervened. While the Madness ejected Goldberg from the ring, Page donned a pair of brass knucks, clocked Nash and then finished him with a Diamond Cutter. At press time, Savage's motives still weren't clear.
