Yoda was an only child born 900 years before the battle of Endor. So he has no brother. No, not Yaddle. That is just things you will see on other sites that talk about Yoda. Yoda lived on Coruscant almost all his life, training very famous Jedi such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia and Anakin Skywalker. After the Emperor took over and began the infamous Jedi purge, Yoda left Coruscant (it is unknown how he got there) and went to Dagobah. Dagobah was a remote planet far from the reaches of the Empire and definitely not a planet anyone would look for a Jedi master on. Yoda took very few possesions with him. All he took was his pack, his lightsaber manual and a makeshift shelter until he could build one himself. He also brought a lightsaber he had constructed but had never lit until Anakin Skywalker tried to kill him 4 months after the clone wars ended.
Yoda somehow made the lightsaber one with him and it disappeared with Yoda when he died. The spirit of Obi-Wan Kenobi told Luke to go to Dagobah to recieve his Jedi training. He did, and Yoda trained Luke even further in the ways of a Jedi up until it was time to contruct his own lightsaber. Yoda died at the age of 900, exactly. He is remembered by all as one of the greatest Jedi that ever lived. Even now, in the midst of the Vong crisis, with Jedi popularity down, billions still flock to Dagobah every week to see his house, which was made a museum by Luke Skywalker after the Emperor Reborn.
