Two huge websites, collectstarwars.com and rebelscum.com, are joining forces to make one, huge, bigger and better star wars collecting site. The url of the new site is not known, even if there is going to be a new url. They might just use rebelscum.com.

STAR WARS AND ELSEWHERE: THE YEAR IN REVIEW

This year has been a complicated year, ranging from the filming of episode 2 to how the star wars universe was affected by September 11th.

January-March
The Homing beacon becomes a bi-weekly newsletter on January 29th.
Shortly after, Dale Earnhardt is killed.
Official site changes it's look in mid-march.
Star Wars Police grows and starts getting votes by the end of march.
Episode 2 selects start.

April-June
I start a long streak which is still going of winning in the maxpages star wars vote category from april and up to december. i intend to win next month.
The first page other than the home page, Planets is built.
Add more and more pages and by the end of june star wars police, while not very publisized yet, is rapildy growing.
Phillies fail to win the Eastern Division.
Sweatitout is created.

July-September
I declare, well within my rights, that star wars police, the official unofficial star wars website, is the best star wars site on the web, which is very true.
My infamous NJO book reviews are started.
Episode 2 selects end shortly after i finally got them on my site.
Terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center shake the country into terror and fear, but really all that came out of it was unflagging loyal patriotism.
Scene with speeder crashing into and destroying a building in episode 2 is cut due to 9/11 attacks.
Star wars police is publisized as i break 1000 visitors and submit my site to search engines.
George Lucas names episode 2 attack of the clones.

October-December
The release of star by star and it's shocking killing of anakin solo thouroughly shakes and maddens the star wars universe, fans and non-fans alike.
death of the taliban with usa strikes on afghanistan.
Star wars police becomes a daily updated website.
George lucas releases the first episode 2 trailer.
Then the second episode 2 trailer.
Then the third episode 2 trailer.
Home page star wars police format is changed to the format of all the other big major star wars sites.

STAR WARS POLICE VIEWS LOTR

Last night i went to see lord of the rings. A great movie! I don't know, but if i wasn't such a dedicated star wars fan as it was, lord of the rings would break into my top four movies (all star wars) as it is, i'd say it's the 6th best film ever. A list is below.

3. A New Hope
4. The Phantom Menace
5. Pearl Harbor
6. Lord Of The Rings
7. Planet of the Apes (new one)

My favorite movies, anyway.
