BOTHAN SPYS
Before the Rebellion, Bothan spys worked for the Empire, going all over the place. They would work for Bounty Hunters, smugglers or just plain old people looking for information.Then the Rebellion came, and the Bothans announced there alliegeince to them. 13 bothan spys so one spy could bring the technical readout of the Death Star back to the Rebels. As we know, the Rebels were succesfull at Endor, which was the turning point in the galactic civil war.
THEIR EQUIPMENT
Bothan spys use intricate equipment while working. They typically carry:

a tiny holdout blaster
micro-binoculars
a datapad
a knife
Thick, warm clothing
a small survival kit
suicide pills in case they are tortured
