EXPANDED UNIVERSE: 0-10 YEARS AFTER RETURN OF THE JEDI

THE TRUCE AT BAKURA
This book took place one day after the Battle Of Endor. The Rebels received an Imperial plea for help at the outpost of Bakura, near the outer rim of the galaxy. The Rebels signed a temporary truce with the Imperials and together, the drove away the mysterious fleet known as the Sussi-Ruuk. The Sussi-Ruuk would kidnap humans and use their life energies as energy for the vehicles and weapons. They were driven out within a week due to poor planning.

THE X-WING NOVELS

Later on, Wedge Antilles reformed Rogue Squadron. He had aces such as Corran Horn and Bror Jace to work with. They took over Imperial strongholds across the galaxy, and finally took over Coruscant in a massive, premeditated assault. Later, after Tycho Celchu's name was cleared of any injustice, Wedge temporarily left Rogue Squadron to him. Wedge then went off to form Wraith Squadron, which helped destroy the remnants of the Empire along with all the warlords.

THE THRAWN TRILOGY

Five years after the battle of Endor, Grand Admiral Thrawn comes and unites the Imperial Navy. Using superior tactics, he led the Imperials on a stunning series of victories. Mean while Jorus Cboath was trying to corrupt Luke Skywalker to the dark side, pretending that he was a Jedi Master. With the help of Mara Jade, they killed Cboath and a clone of Luke. Leia gave birth to Jacen and Jaina, and Thrawn was finally defeated by Garm Bel-Iblis.

THE JEDI HUNT SERIES

This book series, written by critically aclaimed science-fiction author Kevin Anderson, was not given good ratings. I didn't think it was that good, but it wasn't that bad either. The series concentrates on Luke and his building of a Jedi Academy. His best student, Kyp Durron, was seduced to the dark side by the spirit of Exar Kun. Kyp put Luke into comatose, and he fled with the sun-crusher, a ship that can ram through other ships with it's quantum armor. He destroyed every Imperial target available, using his hate for the Empire to crush it with the Sun Crusher. He destroyed the planet of Caridia, an Imperial training base. Finally Han Solo caught him and changed his mind. It helped that Leia had killed Exar Kun, giving Durron no motivation and less power. Luke regained conciousness, and forgived Kyp Durron, completing his jedi training.
