A-wings- A-wings are the fastest starfighter as of the Battle of Endor. But, these ships are also easily damaged, one direct hit is usually enough to destroy the vessel. A-wings have two mounted blaster which allow for 60 degrees up or down. The ship has a nice sensor-jamming array. Click on the thumbnails for its specifications

E-wings- this starfighter, which employs the R7 astromech droid, was the first starfighter to be fully designed and built under the auspices of the New Republic, and was created by FreiTek Incorporated. The ship, while visually like the X-Wing, has a pair of stable wings. It dishes out punishment and can take it equally well. It uses the R7 droid to take advantage of a redesigned hyperdrive system. The weapons systems leave something to be desired, being based on a synthetic Tibanna gas that isn't as good as the real thing. The New Republic employed two models of the E-Wing. The basic A-Model is 11.2 meters in length, and is armed with three heavy blaster cannons and a proton torpedo launcher. The B-Model is nearly identical to the A-model, except that Mon Calamarian techs have tripled the power input to the weapons systems. This makes them extremely powerful, but if the couplings fail and the weapons overheat, they can be extremely dangerous. (DE1, DESB, EGV)

K-wing

This Bomber craft is designed to go faster than the b-wing fighter bomber. It's a very powerful craft because of it's large payload of projectiles(20 proton torpedos).
T-wing

This cheaper fighter is used for more training than anything else by the New Republic. Because it is inexpensive, it is often used by smugglers and pirates.
W-wing

Very little is known about this sleek new fighter. It has many similarities to the X-wing and Z-95, which suggests that it might have been created by a division of the Incom Corporation. It appears to have two laser cannons, one on the end of each of it's very uniquely shaped wings.
Hornet Interceptor- The Hornet starfighter actually looks like a 14 meter long hornet. It is design for space or altmosphieric flights. It is highly monuverable with only 2 laser cannons, which can be upgraded to turbolasers. It similiar to Tie Fighter mission profiles in that it isn't designed for long ranged missions, therefore it isn't equipped with a hyperdrive. This ship is found through the black market, but can be easily mass produced.
I-7 Howlrunner- This is an Imperial Starfighter named after the Kamarian Howlrunner. The ship has a length of 11.4 meters and carries two laser cannons. It also can take as much punishment as an X-wing because of it's dedicated shields.
