| "The force is what gives a Jedi his power. Its an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together". The force is traditonally broken down into two unique aspects Dark and Light. If the Dark and Light sides of the Force were like two sides of a coin then there would be no confusion. However the force is an energy feild and can not be classified this way. The Force is essence and pure and is neither good nor evil. how the force is classified depends on who uses it and for what purposes. However there is a shadow side of the Force too. The shadow side lies on the edge of Dark and Light. A shadow user will not use the Light side when what is called for is the Dark and vice versa. Dark side users of the force give themselves compelety to the Darkside and use their abilities to commit hate anger, agression and fear. Light side users use the force for good such as defence and knowledge. A Jedi purpose is to protect and serve the galaxy and bring justice and peace to all. |
