| It is a period of civil war. Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil GALACTIC EMPIRE. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet. Pursued by the Empire's sinister agents, Princess Leia races home aboard her starship, custodian of the stolen plans that can save her people and restore freedom to the galaxy... Luke Skywalker is a simple farm boy. His homeplanet Tatooine is far away, when a imperial star destroyer attacks a star ship. Two droids escape and find their way to Luke. R2-D2, one of the droids, show Luke the way to Obi-Wan Kenobi, a Jedi Master. In the meantime, imperial Stormtroopers blow up the farm of Luke's uncle Owen to destroy the two droids. In Mos Eisley, the spaceport of Tatooine, Obi-Wan and Luke meet Han Solo, the captain of the Millenium Falcon, and his co-pilot Chewbacca. With R2-D2 and C-3PO, the droids, they wanna fly to Alderaan. The grandmoff Tarkin is the commander of the Death Star, the new imperial battlestation. With this weapon he destroies Alderaan. Our heros arrived at the place where Alderaan was. They reach the Death Star and escape from the Stormtroopers. They check that the Princess Leia Organa is on this battlestation. Luke, Han and Chewie, the short form of Chewbacca, free Leia. In the meantime, Obi-Wan meet his former friend, who is now a Dark Lord, called Darth Vader. While Obi-Wan and Vader battle with their lightsaber, the Rebels escape in the Millenium Falcon. But the Death Star follows them. Into the memory of R2-D2 is a plan of the evil battlestation saved. The Rebels find on their base a way to destroy the Death Star. In a last-ditch attack against this station, the Rebel Alliance try to destroy the Death Star and save their base. They do it finally in a thrilling battle. |
