| In the 70s, a young man called George Lucas had finished his first movie: THX. It has been a big flop. The next one, American Graffiti, was very succesful for Universal Pictures. So Lucas wanted directly a new movie. His own vision. A endless battle between good and bad. For the scenery, he chose the universe. He wrote a first script for Star Wars. But no one understood it. Universal Pictures and United Artist didn't want to produce this movie. 20th Century Fox liked to sign a contract with George Lucas for another movie and so they said yes to Star Wars. |
