Pluto- Pluto is the farthest planet from the sun. Pluto is about 39 times as far from the sun as the earth. Its mean distance from the sun is about 3,660,000,000 miles. Pluto has anestimated diameter of 1,460 miles, less than a fifth of earth. The temperature on Pluto maybe about -342 to -369 F. The planet appears to be partly covered with methane gas andhas a little atmosphere. The length of one year is 248 earth years and has one satellite named Charon.
