APOLLO 15
Call Name: Endeavor and Falcon
Crew: David R. Scott, Alfred M. Worden, James B. Irwin
Date: July 26-August 5, 1971

The mission marked the debut of the lunar roving vehicle (LRV). With it, astronauts Scott and Irwin gathered 171 pounds of lunar material. Its portable TV camera provided
spectacular views of the moon. During their 67-hour stay, the astronauts shot two miles of photo graphic film, while overhead, Worden carried out a program of orbital experiments in "Endeavor". Concludes with the dramatic return to the earth.
