Apollo 12 landed on the moon in the Sea of Storms. Its main purpose was to try to land at a pin point accuracy.There was a small probe that they had to try to land next to, called surveyor 3 and they were very successful. Veteran astronaut Pete Conrad's famous qoute, "Whoopee!! that might have been a small step for Neil, but it was a big one for me!!". Conrad was the 3rd man ever to walk on the moon and his LMP Al Bean was the 4th man on the moon.
