The Republic is failing and a new movement appears under the leadership of Count Dooku. Many solar systems are folowing the movement and also the rich Trade Federation joined under Nute Gunray and launched war on Naboo. The Separatist movement meets it's end when Darth Sidious' new apprentice Darth Vader goes to the Separatist hiding place on Mustafar and kills all the Separatist leaders.
