| This strategy will work only if you are fast play againts newbies so that you can teach them a lesson keep building scvs until u have about ten havest only crystals build one more then build a bunker then send and scv to scout the base for bunkers if they don't have any just a few marines attack and keep building marines and sending them down this rush usually works unless the opponent has siege tanks or bunkers Build first SCV when you have 70+ minerals.Build a barrack when able before the supply.You will not have much after so get all minerals if possible.Once barrack finishes,Collect enougth to get a academy.When building,Get next supply.Train 4 marines.get 1 refinery.Get 1 barrack.Train 4 marine and 6 SCVs.Brood war players,This is a good time for your medics.Get 20 marines .research stim & marine range . Put all into bunkers when affordable.Weapons lv2 Use all to attack Later in game get a nuke .use 36marines 12 medics attack.drop nuke.enemies retreat if not attack for 7 secs stim and run works always.Best if wraiths support.Try adding 7 tanks in siege mode .Very good but damages own units. Defence -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. With this team I have figured out a very good thing to use against the protoss carriers and that is using your Marines in big groupes of about 12. Another thing good to use is the Goliath. With them in big groupes you can do a great deal of damage. They take 20 damage each shot and if you had a group of 12 you could take a carrier out after every roude of shots. 2. For all of the enterances to your base you should have about four bukers filled with about four guys in each. After that is done you should build some Supply depot's infront of them so no one can get in. Put Siege Tanks behind the turrets for long range attacks. You should always have a SCV there to repaire the things while they get shot up. 3. Are teams sending extra large amounts of air fighters at you? Do you need some defence against it? Well there is no real good way to stop large amounts of air units but I have 1 way that is easy but it takes time. When I play over battle net I always make sure to build turrets all the way around my base. I'f you do this things can still get through so what you do is you put about 60 of them all through your base. There is no way the air units can get in. This is a strategy that I always use and it never fails. You should have Galiath all around the rims of the spot that you are on. 4. You should always have about two or three science vessel's ready because they are detectors and are able to see any ghosts that try to nuke you. They also have a defence skill that will protect a person but everyone around him gets hit. It is cool to do that to the other team when they come in big groupes. You should also have some wraith to defend your base at all times. They are very good defence because they can use the spell cloak. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Offence -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. If you like to rush people you should first build lots of SCV. After you have about 8 of them getting you money make one of them build you a supply depot. After that is done you should have enough money for some barracks. After they are done build an army of about 5 or 6 guys find there base and start to kill them. After that just keep sending wave upon wave of guys at them until they are dead. 2. It is always good to have a group of 12 Siege Tanks and 12 Goliath with you. when you have them ready send them all at the other teams base. Have your Siege Tanks in group 1 by putting them all in one group and pressing ctrl 1. Do the same for the goliath. Put you tanks in siege mode in front of the base and have the goliath in the back for defence against air. you will take out there buildings and all you have to do is keep moving your guys closer and closer to the parts of the base. 3. This may work or it may not. It all depends on how good the other guy is. All you have to do is get some dropships and send put in Siege tanks and Goliath and fly them to the other guys base attack from the inside out. |
