After aa good night's rest, AJ and Sarah headed out to Viridian Forest. "I wonder what kind of Pokemon are here?" AJ said. "Does THAT answer your question!?" Sarah said, pointing to what looked like a worm. AJ flipped his Pokedex out and aimed it at the Pokemon.
*Weedle*
*A small Bug Pokemon. It uses the stingers on its head and tail to poison the enemy*

"Wow! I'm gonna catch it!" AJ exclaimed. "Squirtle, I choose you!" Squirtle stepped ifont of the Weedle blocking its escape. "Squirtle, Tail Whip now!" AJ commanded. Squirtle whacked his tail into the Weedle making it fall on its back. This made it mad. The Weedle jumped into Squirtle head first with its stinger. Squirtle cried out in pain. "Call it back!" Sarah said. "Squirtle was poisoned!" she continued. "OK, Squirtle, return!" AJ said. Since Squirtle rarely goes in its Pokeball Squirtle ran to Sarah for comfort. "Rattata, go!" AJ said throwing the Pokeball on the ground. "Rattata, Quick Attack now!" Rattata bashed into the side of thee Weedle. The Weedle was badly hurt now, so AJ threw a Pokeball at it. "ping, ping, ping...." "I caught Weedle!" AJ shouted. He put Rattata back in his Pokeball and called Weedle out. "Oh how cute!" Sarah said. "You like bugs?" AJ said. "Of course I do!" Sarah said picking up the Weedle.
"If you're going to carry Weedle, let me carry Squirtle," AJ said. "OK." As they continued there journey through the forest, something jumped out at that them. "Aaaahhhhh!" Sarah screamed, dropping Weedle. It was a young boy. "I challenge you to a Pokemon Battle! If you win, you can go past me. Ifo you don't, you can't get through...." the boy said. "Don't worry, I'll win!" AJ said. "Go Caterpie!" the boy said. "Caterpie? What's that?" AJ said pointing his Pokedex at the Pokemon.
*Caterpie*
*A bug Pokemon. It later evlolves into Metapod and then the more poweerful Butterfree*
"OK, then I choose...... Weedle!" AJ said. Sarah put Weedle down and he crawled into battle. "Caterpie, Stringshot now!" the boy said. Caterpie shot out string from its mouth at Weedle. Weedle dodged the attack. "Weedle, show him how to really use String Shot!" AJ said. Weedle shot out String from its mouth and it covered Caterpie's body (except for its head) so it couldn't move. "Weedle, Poison Sting now!" AJ said. Weedle head-butted the Caterpie with its stinger and the Caterpie was poisoned. "Stop! Please Stop! You win, you win!" The boy cried. "All right!" AJ said. "good job Weedle!" Sarah said picking up the Pokemon. Weedle started glowing. "Huh? What's happening?" Sarah cried. "I think he's...... evolving!" AJ said excitedly. It was! It now looked like a cocoon. AJ pointed his Pokedex at the cocoon like Pokemon.
*Kakuna*
*It is almost incapable of moving. From this stage, it will evolve into Beedril*

"Cool!" AJ exclaimed. "Where's the first gym?" AJ asked "In Pewter city." Sarah said "Look, I think that's the way to Pewter City!" Sarah said. "Let's go!" AJ said. And the two set off to Pewter City.

What an adventure! AJ caught a new Pokemon and it already evolved! Look for the next fanfic continuing the adventures of AJ!
