| The Begining These fanfics are stories of a young boy's pokemon adventures while he trains to become a Pokemon Master! It was a beautiful Saturday morning, but it wasn't any old Saturday morning. Today was the day when a boy named AJ would get his first Pokemon. "AJ, are you ready to go to Professor Oak's lab?" AJ's mom shouted. "Almost!" replied AJ packing his backpack. After filling his backpack with all the stuff he neeeded for his journey, AJ heads off to Proffesor Oak's lab. "Quiet down everyone." Proffesor Oak said after everyone had gotten there. AJ looked around and saw 2 other kids waiting to get their first pokemon, too. "Gary, since you were the first one here, you get to choose your pokemon first." Proffesor Oak Stated. Gary stuck out his tounge on his way up to the stand where the pokemon were. Gary and AJ have been rivals for years. "I'll take this one!" Gary said taking a pokeball. "Let's see what's inside!" AJ exclaimed. "Now you shall all see the best pokemon in the world (because it's mine)" Gary bragged. "Would you shut up and get on with it?!" AJ cried. Gary threw his pokeball on the ground and........ a Charmander popped out! "Awesome!" all the kids shouted in unison. "Only the best for ME." Gary said. Gary was really starting to get on AJ's nerves. "Next is...... Jamie,"Jamie was one of AJ's best friends. AJ wondered what Pokemon Jamie would get. Jamie took a pokeball and gently tossed it on the ground and out popped........ a Bulbasaur! "Oh, how cute!" Jamie said. AJ thought it was perfect for her because he knew it was a grass pokemon and Jamie enjoyed gardening. There was one pokeball left on the stand. AJ wondered what was inside. "Last, but not least, AJ come pick your pokemon!" AJ grabbed the pokeball excitedly and tossed on the ground and out popped........ a Squirtle! AJ's smile changed to a frown. He hated water pokemon. "How do you like it?" Proffesor Oak asked. "It's......... great." AJ said with a sigh. "Good." replied Proffesor Oak. "Now you three better get started on your big journey!" AJ looked at the other two and saw how happy they were with their pokemon. After standing still for awhile he took his Squirtle and started on his adventure. "Squirt...... Squirtle Squirtle!" His pokemno kept saying. "Is that all you can say...... your name?" Squirtle nodded. Well AJ thought. We better get used to each other. And of they went on the path to Viridian City. "Oh, wait!" They heard the voice form behind them. They both turned around. "Professor Oak!" AJ shouted. "AJ, you forgot these," Proffesor Oak said, handing AJ 5 pokeballs and a pokedex. "What's this do?" AJ asked pointing to the Pokedex. "It tells to information about in pokemon you want to know about, just open the Pokedex and aim at a pokemon," the Professor said pointing the open Pokedex at Squirtle. *Squirtle* *An Aquatic Pokemon. Powerfully sprays water attacks from it's mouth* The Pokedex buzzed. "Cool!" AJ said. Then, AJ and Squirtle started on their long journey to Viridian City. On the way their, AJ and Squirtle saw a Rat like creature sitting beneath a tree. AJ quickly pulled out his Pokedex and aimed it at the Pokemon. *Rattata* *Bites anything with powerful and jagged teeth* The buzzing noise of the Pokedex woke the Rattata. "Let's catch it, OK Squirtle," AJ said. "Squirtle!" "Squirtle, go!" AJ shouted. Squirtle jumped infront of the Rattata, blocking it's way of escape. "Squirtle, Watergun attack now!" Squirtle sprayed a powerful jet stream from it's mouth at Rattata. Rattata was knocked backwards and hit the tree. This really up set the Rattata. The Rattata ran at Squirtle and bit his tail. Squirtle screamed in pain. "Hang in there Squirtle!" AJ shouted. "Use Bubble attack now!" Squirtle shot bubbles out of his mouth. The Rattata was badly hurt now, and AJ threw a Pokeball at the Rattata. The Rattata wiggled and wiggled inside the Pokeball for a few minutes and then it became calm. "Yes!!!!!" AJ called out triumphantly. "I've caught my first pokemon!" "Squirtle!!!" His pokemon said jumping up with joy with AJ. AJ picked up the Pokeball and sent out Rattata. The two pokemon fallowed him on the path to Viridian City. |
