-Pallet Town-
Pokemon Found: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander.

Your adventure starts in Pallet Town. Before you leave, go to your PC and withdraw the Potion. Then talk to your mom and leave your house. Head out towards the patch of grass that's north of the town. Professor Oak will stop you and escort you to his lab. Your rival, you can pick whatever you want his name to be but we'll have it be Gary, is there, too. He's picking his first pokemon like you. You get to pick your pokemon first. In the beginning Bulbasaur or Squirtle should be your choice but in the long run Charmander is probably the best. Gary will pick the pokemon with a strength over yours. (Grass against Water, Water against Fire etc.) After picking your Pokemon, Gary will challenge you to a battle. If you win, you get some money. If your Pokemon faints, go to your mom and she'll heal it for you.

-Route 1-
Pokemon Found: Pidgey and Rattata

After the battle, head north of Pallet Town to the patches of grass. Where you see patches of grass, you can find pokemon. If you find any and defeat it with your Pokemon, your Pokemon will gain experience. Remember to talk to everyone you see and go in all the buildings. One person on this route gives you a Potion! Keep heading north to Viridian City.

-Viridian City-

First, head to the Pokemon Center to heal your Pokemon for free. Then, go to the Pokemon Mart. The man aat the counter will give you something called Oak's Parcel. You must deliver this package to Professor Oak, so head back down to Pallet Town. After delivering the package to Professor Oak. he'll give you a Pokedex. Despite what Gary said, go to his house and his sister will give you a town map. Then, go back to Viridian City. Heal your Pokemon if it's damaged then go to the Pokemart. You can buy supplies there. I'd reccomend buying a couple of Pokeballs and a few Antidotes for the journey ahead. Now that you have some Pokeballs, go along Route 1 and look for Pidgey and Rattata. Capture them both. After that, heal Pidgey and Rattata if you want, then go east of Viridian City. You'll find a small patch of grass. Don't go back to far though because your rival has Pokemon around level 8. Over here you can catch Nidoran Female, Nidoran Male, and Spearow. Catch those three, then go back to the Pokemon Center to heal your Pokemon, and then go to the Pokemon Mart. Buy some more pokeballs. (Note: Remember to use ALL YOUR POKEMON EQUALLY. Don't just use your starting Pokemon! I have seen people who have had a Charizard at level 38 and a Pidegy at level 8. That's not a good strategy because you can't beat the game with one Pokemon. Also, if you don't want some of the Pokemon you have in your Main Lign Up then deposit them on the PC at the Pokemon Center.

-Route 2 and Viridian Forest-
Pokemon Found: Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, Weedle, Metapod, Kakuna, and Pikachu
