| How to make a pokeball a master ball: When you thorugh a pokeball, hold up and B at the same time. Let go once the pokemon is inside the ball. This doesn't always work. Safari Zone pokemon at Cinnabar Island: After searching in the safari zone for rare pokemon, fly to Cinnabar Island. Surf up and down the coast and you will eventualy find Safari Zone Pokemon! How to get Missingno.: First, trade a player (inside the game) a pokemon. Such as in Vermillion City a Spearow for a Farfetch'd. Then, fly to Cinnabar Island and surf up and down the coast. You will eventualy find a Missingno.! Statue Fishing: At any statue that's in or by water (like the statues in Misty's gym) you can fish on! Just use an Old Rod, Good Rod, or Super Rod and voila, water pokemon! 99 of any item: First, put the item you want duplicated in your sixth slot (the items you carry with you) Then, talk to the old guy north of Viridian City and say no to his question.(the guy that shows you how to catch a Weedle.) Then fly to Fuschia City and surf down to Seafoam Islands. Then surf up and down the coast. You'll find a weird guy (who looks like Missingno.) name M. Either defeat him or run away from him and your item will be duplicated! Clone Pokemon You need a friend for this. Trade the pokemon to be cloned and have you friend get a pokemon they dont care about. Trade them, and make sure the person getting the bad pokemon can see the other's screen. When the reciever of the good pokemon's screen says "waiting", get ready to shut the other one off. When waiting disapears, turn off the Game Boy that's getting the bad pokemon. When the other one says trade completed, turn that one off too. When you turn the games back on, you should both have the pokemon. Warning! This could delete a saved game! Easy Dito Catch Put Magikarp at top of list and let Ditto transform into a Magikarp. Then switch Pokémon--Ditto is easy to fight and catch! Better Chance Catching Safari Pokémon When you throw a Safari Ball, the instant you see the ball materialize, start rotating the pad from the left in a counterclockwise motion at a semi-slow speed. I have been able to catch the most difficult Pokemon in the Safari Zone multiple times. It's not 100% effective, but it is in the 80% area, and the ones that escape the ball and run away, I usually catch the next Pokemon right away. Start Standing On A Bush Cut down a bush. Then step on the spot where you cut the bush. Then save the game. Turn the game back on, and you'll be standing on the bush! Cut Away Grass In the grassy fields where you find pokemon, use the Cut attack and the grass will cut. Use this when you need to avoid battles. |
