2 Gust of wind
2 Switch
1 Super Potion
1 Potion
1 Defender
1 Professor Oak
1 Computer Search

Energy…28
16 Psychic Energy
12 Electric Energy

Here's my reconstructed Zap! deck.

6 Lighting Energy
4 Electabuzz

18 Psychic Energy
4 Gastly (Fossil)
3 Haunter (Fossil)
2 Gengar
2 Mewtwo (Promo)
4 Likatung

4 Bill
3 Professor Oak
2 Computer Search
4 Gust of Wind
2 Switch
2 Itemfinder

Although alot of these cards are rare, they can be easily obtained. Lighting Energy and Psychic Energy come with the deck, Gust of Wind does, Bill does, Oak does, Computer Search does, and others. The ones not in here can be easily obtained by trading. Electabuzz is a non-holo rare so other kids would be glad to trade a few for something holo. Gastly's are Uncommon, and non-holo Haunters and Gengars can be easily obtained too. (Because they're not holo) The Mewtwo promos might be near impossible to get, but they're just backup to the statis effect theme. Use Jynx or base set Mewtwos as temporary replacements. The Itemfinders may be hard to get, but give a kid a good rare pokemon to drool over and he/she will probably give you these if you request them. Same with Computer Search. Now, reasons why for new cards:
Electabuzz is simply the best electric card out there! He has statis effects, which support th theme, 70 HP, and is a basic Pokemon! You may be thingking, well, Zapdos can beat it with one Thunderbolt. Zapdos takes 4 turns at the least (with exception of Electrode) and by then, Electabuzz has caused him to faint. The Fossil Gastlys support the theme, and can get back needed energy. Not to mention, have a resistance to fighting and a free retreat. The Haunters support the theme, and make good stallers. The Gengars are there for hard hits and damage manipulation. Now, I could have out in the Alakazam line instead of the Gengar line, but I think the Gengar line is a tad bit stronger. You may disagree, but this is my choice sothere! *Sticks out tounge* Now, the Mewtwos are there for support and can power themselves up. The Likatungs support the theme, and crush Psychic Pokemon. They also stall, in case you need some time. The Trainers in the original were to big of a variety, so I slimmed them down to a few important trainers. The Computer Search, Bill, and Professor Oak let you dig down through your deck to get what you need. The Gust of Winds are for free kills, and the Switches are for high retreat Pokemon(Likatung, Electabuzz, Mewtwo and occasinaly Gengar)The Item Finders are for reusing those juicy trainers. Well, hopes this helps you make a better Zap! deck.
