| To make the cipher wheel you cut out 2 circles about 3 inches long 3 inches high out of thin cardboard.Next on one of the circles draw a circle two and a half inches wide and high in the circle seperate it into 26 parts an in the spaces write all the letters of the alphabet down.Now on the other circlemake two wholes,and make sure that they are verticle to each other.And make sure that the wholes line up directly with letters on the other circle.Now using a ruler indicate the center of the circle with the wholes then line up the edges with the two circles making sure that the one with the wholes is on top and stick a pushpin in the center and open it on the back.If you want to send a message to a friend using this code remember to send him or her a cipher wheel the message and the instructions. |
