| "SPIROS" was founded by Lead Vocalist, Brett Keyser and Drummer, Rick Bishop in the spring of 1998 in Spartanburg, SC. The mission of this band is to reach out to the youth of today and show them that being a Christian is "cool". The band plays a STYLE of Christian Rock similar to Lloyd, Plankeye, Small Town Poets and The Waiting. But their SOUND really is a cross between Nirvana and the Goo Goo Dolls. Justin Brutosky joined SPIROS in late summer of '98 as their Rhythm Guitarist. He carries with him a unique style that is quite uplifting and exciting to watch. Ken Creswell joined SPIROS soon after Justin jumped aboard as their Lead Guitarist. He was formerly with the bands "The Way Station" and "Common Ground". Ken brings with him tons of experience that is obvious each time you see and hear him play. The band is very anxious and excited to be able to minister to youth by lifting up the name of Jesus with hard, rockin' Christian Rock & Roll!
