| Many times we hear God refered to as "the Father,Son, and Holy Spirit". This is what we call the Holy Trintity. God is one being but is in three forms all at once. God is like us in form. "God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him". Genesis 1:27 NIV The best way to look at it is that we have "God", we have "Spirit", and we have a "body". God has the same thing. God has God (the Father), God has Spirit (the Holy Spirit), and God has a body (the Son who is Jesus). So we were really made in the image of God. Like Jesus said in the Bible "I and the Father are one" John 10:30 NIV To some it up, there is only one God. You might be wondering how to pray to God. If you trust in Jesus and if what you pray for is of God's will, then like Jesus said "You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it" John 14:14 NIV. So when praying, pray to Jesus. Remember God is Jesus. |
