Well, this album flat kicks ass(as well it should, being a greatest hits album). There's no other way to put it. There were 2 new songs on it, Kill The King and Dread And The Fugitive Mind. Kill The King has a simple, but extremely infectious riff, and some pretty cool lyrics too. Dread And The Fugitive Mind is the better of the 2 new songs and was included on The World Needs A Hero. The rest of the songs are classics from Megadeth's illustrious past. The last 4 songs are the best on the album, and are the epitome of metal. Hell, this entire album is the epitome of metal.
The best 4 songs are:
1. In My Darkest Hour
2. Holy Wars...The Punishment Due
3. Hangar 18
4. Peace Sells
The Bottom Line: ****1/2 |
