On the road to adventure with Pokémon

In this world live animals called Pocket Monsters (nicknamed Pokémon). Over the ages, Pokémon and humans have played together as friends and they have lived their lives joining their strengths. But, the big mystery of this way of life
is what started Dr. Utsugi of Wakaba Town, and various scientists have continued, the study of Pokémon. On this day, Dr. Utsugi received mail from a friend called the Pokémon Doctor.

It said...[Come and see ths wonderful thing I've discovered!] But Dr. Utsugi shuts himself up in his studies all of
the time. He can not go out. He calls Silver (the hero), a young man who lives next door and is his friend, to his lab and asks him [Why don't you go and take a look?].
Silver, who is gentle and very curious, agress to take on the job. Then Dr. Utsugi shows him 3 Pokémon and asks him to take his favorite Pokémon with him as a partner.

.
Your adventure begins

Silver takes his starter Pokémon and is overjoyed. On the other side of a window, a shadowy figure watches the transaction from outside. This young man is the same age as Silver. Silver distrusts him and when he goes outside, he tries to
accost him ["That guy's spying!"] but is pushed aside rudely. Who does this guy think he is? And what is this big discovery...?

There is an internal clock in [Pocket Monsters] . For this reason, it is possible to synchronize
the game with the flow of "real" time. For example, if you are playing at night, the game's setting is at night and it is possible to encounter Pokémon who only appear during that time of the day. Also during the game, there are
[Event to be performed on Tuesday], etc. So, if you play on the day specified, you can participate in that event.

To complete your Pokédex it is necessary that you trade Pokémon from the other version(s) of [Pocket
Monsters] through the Link Cable. Cooperate with your friends and complete your Pokédex.

The world of Pokémon.

Try to become the strongest Pokémon Trainer!.

One more objective is to polish your skill as a Pokémon Trainer. During your adventure, both you and your Pokémon grow through battles with wild Pokémon and other Trainers. There are also several [Pokémon
Gyms] in this world. In these gyms, there are crackerjack Trainers called Leaders. Whenever someone defeats one, they are recognized as a true Trainer. However, these Leaders have strong Pokémon.
Although these battles are severe, take courage and accept their challenge!
