This is a walkthrough for the Silver version, charecter names and
Pokemon
ratios may be diffrent.

Starting your game:

Your given 2 options, Pick the top one to start your game.

It will ask you to pick some numbers, That is to set the time of
day, This
isnt to terribly important. Proffesor Oak goes on giving an amost
identical
speech as in blue/red, It will ask you to pick a name. The top
option is to
write out your name, If you cant read or write japanse this is
pointless,
Pick one of the other names, the 2nd one is Silver, 3rd is Kamon,
4th is
Tooru, 5 th is Maseo.

You start in your room, go and look at the poster on your wall, That
is the
map, Then go downstairs, your mom will talk to you then ask you what
day it
is, Pick any option. Then press the top option after that, Remember
those the
top is "Yes" and the bottom is "No". You`ll be seeing those 2
options alot

Leave your house and go immediatly to the house on the left, That is
prof
Utsugi`s lab, he will give you your 1st pokemon, The Pokeball on the
far left
is Hinoarashi, His is a Fire Pokemon, The Pokeball in the middle is
Waninoko,
The water pokemon, and the Pokemon on the right is Chiroriita, A
leaf
Pokemon. Pick one and continue on your way.

Leave Utsugi`s lab and continue left, You`ll face some pokemon,
including
O-Tachi, Pidgey and some others, You`ll eventually reach a building
with a
"PC" that is a pokecenter,of course, Heal your pokemon and go up the
path
right next to the shop. Keep on heading north, You may see some
pokeomn
fighting, go up the path that is to the right of them, You`ll
eventually
reach a house.

Inside the house you will see some guy, and Professor Oak, They will
talk to
you, and Oak will give you a Pokedex, After you leace the house
Utsugi will
call you on the cell phone, saying that one his Pokemon has been
stolen and
to return to his lab.

Return to Prof Utsugi`s lab, Right as you leave the 1st town youll
run into
your rival, She will have the pokemon that is strong against yours
and she
will fight you, Once you win continue on to Utsugi`s, Talk to him,
and then
leave, His assistant will give you 5 pokeballs, Go back to the 1st
town, on
the way a person will show you how to capture pokemon , pay
attention,and
capture some Pokemon on the way. Continue up the path that was
blocked by the
fighting trainers, and face all the trainers that challenge you,
You`ll
eventually find a cave ignore that , and continue left, until you
reach
Kikyou city, You`ll find that in the store they sell Pokeballs they
look like
in japansese, Remember that.

Continue up to the northern part of the city, You`ll see a tall
building,
This is a bellsprout Temple, Work you way up To the top, and beat
the Leader,
He will give you Flash, You`ll need to capture a Bellsprout and
teach it
Flash, then goto the cave and get all the stuff you can, Then return
to the
gym and defeat the gym leader for the wing badge.
Once you leave the gym, You`ll get a call from prof. Utsugi, He says
to go
get a pokemon egg from a man at the pokemon center, Make a spot in
your
starting 6 for it, and talk to the man with the glasses in the
Pokemon Center
near the 1st gym.

Continue to the left side of town until you come to sevral caves,
Goto the
higher one and solve the Kabuto Puzzle, This will awaken some
pokemon, and
drop you down to a lower cave.

Capture one of the strange looking pokeon, called An`noon. Now
contune back
east until you see a path south, Continue south fighting trainers,
and
catching Pokemon until you get to a person who asks for 100 yen, say
yes and
enter the pokemon center, talk to the man with the hat, he will give
you a
fishing pole, go to the pond to the north, and fish for a Magikarp,
(Gryados`s are fun), Now continue back south, until you reach a
cave, work
your way through the cave until you get to the southern exit, Leave
the cave
and walk west until you reach the town, and pass a blocked off cave,
Continue
on to the house on the northwest side of town, Talk to the man
inside, He
will run out and unblock the cave. Go to the cave that was blocked
and defeat
all the TR inside and free the Slowpoke.

Now you can face the 2nd gym leader, who uses Bug Pokemon, Her level
18
Scyther is brutal, Once you defeat the gym leader she will give you
the
incect badge.

Exit the 2nd gym and continue out the path to the west, You will
find a boy
who lost his farfech`d, Continue down the path, and chase the
Farfeche`d
towards they boy, when he gets his Pokemon he will reward you with
Cut, Teach
one of your pokemon Cut, and cut that tree right above the boy, and
follow
the path, Head north until you geto a building, Talk to the girl
with the
Butterfree inside the building, she will give you a TM, Continue
north

You`ll see a house with a pond in the front yard, Inside the house
are people
who will breed your pokemon, Also you can fish for Krabby`s in the
pond,
Continue north until you reach the town.

This city is confusing, I`ll try to explain as best I can, Find the
building
that has only a stair case leading to a basement, It is on the
bottom left
side of town, Go down the hall beating trainers, on the way you`ll
pass a
hall, Remember that you`ll return later, Go up the stair, you`ll be
insid
another house, It will take you outside, Again, Continue to the Left
middle
side of town, You`ll find a guy that will give you a bike, in
another
building , The Giant metal one, Talk to the woman on the far right,
Answer
Yes,Yes,Yes,No,Yes,No, She will give you a radio. The is more to do,
I`ll
explain more later, Goto the gym and defeat the normal type Gym
Leader, She
has a Clefable and Mirutanku, It is powerfil for a silly looking
cow.

After you leave the 3rd gym goto the house directly to the east,
Inside you
should see 2 women, Talk to the one on the left, She will give you
"Squirtle
Water", Now work your way north to the garden, and then go east,
you`ll see a
odd looking tree, use the "Squirtle Water" on the tree and it will
come to
life, Battle it and Catch it, No continue north, and go left (Going
right
will take you to the town with the 1st gym). Continue until you
reach the
next town, One building has a play going on inside of it, Challenge
all the
women, They have the 5 types of Eevee, Including the 2 New ones,
When you
defeat them you`ll have alot of exp, Goto the Gym and Fight the
trainers, The
invisible platform is easy to figure out, The gym leader likes ghost
Pokemon,
I found Pidgeotto very useful aginst them, When you win you`ll get
the
phantom badge

After beating the phantom gym, Return to the building with all the
Eevee
trainers, and talk to the audiance.One person will give you the surf
TM, Now
leave the town heading west. You`ll eventually reach a town with an
empty
gym, Goto the building to the left of the Poke Center, Talk to the
people in
the building, one of them will give you the strenth TM, Then goto
the beach,
and surf to the Island towards the west, That gym uses fighting
Pokemon.
After you defeat that gym leader return to the city with the empty
gym, and
goto the south east part of the city, you`ll see a lighthouse, work
your way
to the top and talk to the woman on the top, answer the 1st option,
and
she`ll walk away and return to her gym, She has Steel and Electric
pokemon,
she is difficult to beat.

After beating the 6th gym leave the town and head back to the city
with the
ghost gym. Leave that town through the eastern exit. Head east
surfing across
the pond, Until you get to a city where the gym is blocked off, Head
north
from there, until you get to a lake. Surf over to the Gyrados in the
center.
Its a one of a kind golden Gyrados. After you defeat it, you`ll see
a person
dressed in black next to a sign, talk to him and pick the 1st
option, and
he`ll fly away, return to the city below, Check all the houses, one
of them
will have the man wearing black, follow him into a trap door. Your
now in a
TR base, Make sure you look at the computer near the scientist on
the 1st
floor, Then work your way through to the top, Defeat the trainer,
and go back
to the 2nd floor, and beat the Electrodes powering the building.
Then leave
The blocked gym will now be open, All you need to bring is a Machoke
and
you`ll win quickly

After you leave the 7th gym, Prof Utsugi will call you saying that
the radio
station was taken over by Team Rocket (thats where you got your
radio),
Return to the city with the 3rd gym, and goto the big metal
building. Work
your way to the top and beat the TR member on the top floor. You
will recive
the key to a door. Leave the tower and go to the house above the
tower on the
map (it should have stairs leading to a basement). Once your
underground, go
down the hallway and unlock the door, Solve the switch puzzle, and
once you
pass is flip the switch next to the wall, and then go throguh the
door,
You`ll appear in the shop`s basement, Get the pokeball, Now return
to the
Radio tower and open the door that was locked. Work your way up to
the top
and defeat TR.

Now go north to the city with the ghost gym, and then head east past
the city
with the ice gym, keep heading east until you end up in the ice
cave, You
have to skate around in one part Look at the picture to see how to
get
through, Make sure you get every pokeball you see, One of them
contains a HM7
that lets you climb up waterfalls. Once you leave the Ice cave,
You`ll be in
the next town, It has a Dragon Gym. Once you beat the leader he wont
give you
the badge...yet. Swim to the cave above that gym and goto the lower
right
part of the cave. Open the Pokeball, he will then come and give you
the
dragon badge.

Leave the Dragon cave, and head straight south. You`ll arive near
your home
town, Talk to prof Utsugi, He will give you a masterball, DONT USE
IT YET!!.
See that pond next to your house? Swim across it, You`ll hit land,
then enter
the cave, and use HM7 to swim up the water fall. Now head east until
the path
takes you north, Talk to the woman inside the house, She will Revive
your
pokemon. Head north until you reach a building. Inside the building
you`ll
notice 2 paths blocked off, The path leading east leads to the
Red/Blue map!
More fun later! Anyway, Head north, go though the cave, You`ll reach
the
large Elite 4 building, It is a good idea to have a balanced team of
LV 55
pokemon to defeat the elite 4, I dont want to ruin the fun, but
Bring a good
fire pokemon, He can fry 2 of the elite 4 easily on his own,if hes
around
lv60.

This isnt over yet, The game is only 1/2 done!

After you beat the game and the credits roll, You`ll return outside
your
house, Goto prof Utsugi and talk to him. He will give you a boat
ticket. Goto
the town with the 6th gym (where you got strenth) Once your there
head south,
You should walkthrough a tunnel to the Port, Talk to the guy
blocking your
path and he will let you on the boat.

On the boat fight every trainer on the top floor, Then goto sleep in
your
bed, and fight any new trainers in all the room, Go to the lower
deck and
talk to the girl next to the captian, You`ll then appear on the top
deck, Now
you can leave the ship.

Your now in Vermillion city, Go left to Surge`s gym and beat him, He
will be
extremly easy, You`ll win the Orange Badge.

Head north to Saffron city and beat Sabrina for the gold badge.

Go south to Celdon city and beat Erika.

Go to Fushia city and beat Koga for the Pink badge.

There is a path north of Celedon city that leads to the north west
corner of
the map, You`ll see Misty Smooching with someone, She will see you
and return
to her gym, Beat her for the Blue Badge

After beating Misty go to the Power Plant (where Zapdos used to be).
Talk to
everone inside, Before you leave one of the Jenny`s will talk to
you. Go to
the Ghost Tower (where Ghastlys use to be, Its now a radio station),
Talk to
the guy facing the wall, Now goto Misty`s gym, and search around the
spot
shown in the picture. Now return to the Power plant and talk to the
guy that
is all by himself on the right side he will give you tm07 and an
item, now
talk to the guy in the ghost tower who is facing the wall again, he
will then
give you a radio station to listen to and a keycard (i think)

Now go to Snorlax on the east side of Vermillion city and play the
radio
channel that is all the way to the right, Then go to Snorlax and he
should
wake up, He is the only one in the game so capture him, Now enter
the Diglett
tunnel.

On the other side, goto Pewter city and beat Brock for the Grey
badge.

Head south to where the Seafoam islands used to be, stick to the
left side,
on the bottom left you`ll come to an island, talk to the guy who is
stuck in
a corner, Its Gary, he will then dissapear, Continue west until you
get to
another island with 1 cave, Go inside and beat Blaine for the
Crimson badge.

Head back north to the town right above Pallet town, Goto the gym i
call Lego
Gym, and beat Gary for the Green Badge.

Now goto Mt. Moon and inside you`ll fight your rival again (I think
for the
last time), Then head to Victory road, Now inside the elite 4
building you
should be able to goto the other side of the hallway (remember where
it
splits off into 2 other hallways), Go down the left hall, and into
the next
area, continue east until, you reach a cave, way inside you`ll find
Ash, His
pokemon are about lv.70, He has a Snorlax, Pikachu, Charizard,
Venusaur, and
2 others. After you beat Ash the credits will roll, You beat the
game, Were
not done yet, there are things that have been forgoten, This
walkthorugh will
be updated constantly with new info
