| 1. If you toss a Bob-omb at the Giant Chain Chomp, he'll go straight up in the air! 2. In Whomp's Fortress, stand on top of the giant wooden plank before you knock it over and punch the air. The plank will wobble back and forth but Mario will stay put! 3. Get a Whomp to charge at you and when he jumps, make Mario jump towards him and he'll go right through his belly, unyielding a coin! You can get up to 5 coins doing this repeatedly! 4. Climb up to the base of the round tower in Whomp's Fortress and stand in front of the face of the wall just before the 1st platform you jump on to get to the top. The brick looks a little more ornate than the others so give it a punch and it'll reveal a 1-up mushroom! 5. In the ice slide, slide down until you see a line of coins kind of leading to the right wall. Follow those coins and you'll go right through the wall into an ice tunnel slide with 1-ups! 6. A green shell box will appear in Lethal Lava Land only after you've gotten the 4th Power Star. 7. In Snowman's Land, get Mario's hat blown off by the giant snowman and warp from the tree in the clearing. Then go back to your hat and barely touch it. If you did it right, he should put on his hat, but another hat will still be on the ground! Do it as many times as you want and hats will be scattered everywhere! If you touch both hats, Mario will be able to walk around with his hat in his hand! 8. If you jump into the Wet-Dry World painting on the lower part, the water in the course will be close to the ground, if you jump in near the top, the place will be totally flooded! 9. You can change the speed of the movement of machinery in the clock by jumping in when the minute hand is on certain numbers. Jumping in when the minute hand is at 12 will make everything stay still! 10. In any of the Bowser levels, get Bowser on the tail and drop him right away. Then get right front of him and press B. Even though he's behind you you'll end up grabbing him by the tail anyway! 11. If you circle any of the tree stumps in Bob-omb's Battlefield or Tiny-Huge Island, coins will appear! 12. (Note: This only works in the Japanese version) In the 1st Bowser, wait around and let him spit fire all over the place. Collect the coins that appear from the flames. If you collect 1,000 coins, an M will appear to the left of the number of lives you have. So if you die, you'll gain a life, and if you collect a 1-up, you'll lose a life! 13. Collect 120 Power Stars and you'll gain access to the cannon outside next to the water. Shoot yourself to the top of the castle and talk to Yoshi. He gives you 100 lives and a new triple jump. (The only disadvantage of this jump is that you can't wall jump with it.) 14. On the top of the castle, the back towers are hollow, meaning you can walk right through them! 15. Shoot to the top of the castle and get the Wing Cap. Then go back down to the cannon and shoot yourself to the second highest tower from the top. Jump through the front face of the wall and you'll fall through the castle in the glitch room. If you go through the front door you'll end up inside but in a black room! If you want to get out, just walk through the wall on either side of the door to the inside. 16. To get to the very, very top of the castle, shoot yourself to the 2nd tower from the top and walk around to the left until you see a fairly shaded part of the wall. Walk up that wall to the top! 17. Shoot to the part of the castle where you met Yoshi and then go to the rightmost tower with the hollow turret. Get as close as you can to the edge and the invisible wall towards the back and hang off the ledge. Make sure you're as close as possible to the back and the edge! Then climb back up and you'll mysteriously die! 18. After you get 120 stars, go back to Cool, Cool Mountain and race the penguin. This time he's a lot fatter! |
