There isn't many things you can do to maintain your board. It's only wood and will eventually wear down or snap. Most times when a board snaps it's becuase of the way you land on it, so try and land with your feet above the truck bolts.

If you live in a spot where your always skating wet ground and the plys on the side of the board are separating, put super glue all along the side of it.

Pressure cracks?? Can't be helped... The holes where the trucks go on always get pressure cracks. But you will get bigger ones if you buy a weak deck. If you buy a strong deck it won't crack as much. Do you have cracks on your nose and tail?? You will get these from coming down hard on the nose/tail while trying to ollie manual, coming down hard on nosestalls, tailslides, bluntslides and those kinds of tricks.

Also, if you dont land a trick an get pissed off, don't trow your board around and kick it because your frustrated. You may see many pro's do this like Kerry Getz, but he doesnt have to spend $100 on a new board if he snaps it.

Tail/nose chips?? Chips happen. Usually when you fry to do a flip trick and it comes down straight on the nose or tail. All decks will get these chips if it hits the ground the wrong way. Just take the chip and put it back on the board with wood glue.
