Axle Stall
-On Ledge
Ride toward the edge with moderate speed, when learning this trick go slowly. Ollie and turn 90 degrese ether backside or frontside, whichever you can do better.
Land on the edge of the curb/ledge with both trucks, and your front foot on the truck bolts, back foot on the tail. once your ready to get off the ledge just ollie, jump outwards, and turn 90 degrese. remember to jump off the ledge the same derection you came, example: turn 90 degrese backside to stall, turn 90 degrese backside to get off. Make sure when you ollie and turn 90 degrese that you jump off the ledge too so that you dotn just turn 90 degrese and land on the ledge again.
-On Quarter Pipe/Mini Ramp
Ride at the quarter pipe with enough speed to get up it and to the coping. You might need to pump to get up far enough. Put your back foot on the tail and front foot on the front truck bolts. Once you get up to the coping put presure on the tail to lift the front truck up, then turn 90 degrese and you should have the back truck on the top of the bar along the ege of the halfpipe, set your front truck down to make it an axle stall. When your ready to come back in lift up the front truck and turn the same derection you did to get into the stall. Learn this on a mini ramp first so that you know the feeling of riding back in. anfer you turn back in press down on the front and lean forward, stomp it like a drop in. You should already know how to drop in, this will help you roll back in. |
