| This dictionary has all the basic jumps and, goes in order of difficulty. * denotes that a jump or spin might be in a different level of difficulty for individuals. Jump or spin above or below is the one it can be switched around /Denotes a newer set of difficulty levels with the stars. waltz jump- a jump in which you take off going forward and do one half of a turn in the air lading backward on one foot; waltz jump resembles the axel *Single Salchow- A jump in which you take off on a backward inside edge. */single toe loop- a jump in which you take off backwards off of your out side edge and valt your self into the air by digging into the ice with the toepick; one rotation, lading backward, one foot /*single loop- a jump in which the take off is backward off of an outside edge; one rotation, landing backward, one foot *single flip- a jump in which you take off of you back inside edge and valt yourself into the air by diggging whith the toepick; one rotation, landing backwards,one foot */single lutz- a jump in which you take off of the back out side edge and valt yourself into the air using the toepicks; one rotation, landing backwards, one foot Single axel-a jump in which you take off forward and rotate one and a half times in the air and land on one foot going backwards. ((Note: All Jumps that say single aplly for doubles, triples, and quads with another rotation.)) Spins: Two foot spin- 1 foot spin- sitspin- camel spin- Layback spin- back sit- back camel- beilman- flying sitspin- flying camel spin- Note: Because there are so many different spins Sk8 Gr8 is unable to list everything today! |
