Step 1

Get a 2.0cm thick plywood and mark (using the string and pencil/chalk) a 230cm (7.65 feet), Now make the cuts as the draeing shows, the base must be 250cm and the height 230cm.

(If you decide you do want your pipe as high as it is just cut it smaller)

Step 2

Make 3 copies of step 1, make sure that they are exactly the same.
Place them about 120cm away, no more than that. make more fo this plywoods if you are building a larger ramp.

Step 3

The ribs: Wood studs, they must be about 4cm x 8cm thick.
img:3.1
Ribs must be nailed as img3.1 shows, nails must be 4.5 long

ANOTHER WAY: TO BUILD QUARTER-PIPES THAT ARE 4 TO 5 TIMES STRONGER THAN YOUR RIB METHOD. THE METHOD EMPLOYS THE RIB METHOD BUT EXPANDS THE METHOD TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF EVERY LITTLE BIT OF POWER. CUT OUT NOTCHES WHERE THE RIBS GO. THIS WILL ALLOW THE RIB TO DISTRIBUTE THE PRESSURE THROUGHT THE STRUCTURE.

Step 4

With studs 2cm x 15cm x 150cm join the posts to the plywood but this time at the bottom as the figure shows. With another stud join all three posts at the back. Make sure all the angles are ok.

Step 6

To get the 1/4 more stronger nail studs 2cm x 15cm x 150cm form the top-left to the bottom-right of the posts (take a look at the figure).
To get it stronger do the same but now with the plywood but this time from the top-right to the bottom-left. (not on the figure).

Step 7

Get a 10cm x 3cm post and do as the figure shows. try to get this post as near as can be to the first rib.
Step 8

Screw a 2cm thik plywood to the structure. Make sure that it is firm. Get each srew to go threw the plywood and into a rib, if it does'nt the scew will be useless.
Step 9

Get more 4cm x 8cm studs to do the plataform ribs, they must also be nailed with 4.5cm long nails.

Step 10

Get some 2cm thick plywood and screw it to the ribs of the plataform.
