Jerik was watching the brunette woman, when, suddenly something he had never hoped for happened: She looked at him, and smiled. A look and a smile! Yes! He wanted to smile back, to look totally calm and collected. But instead he blushed and instantly took to his meal trying to act like he hadn't been watching her in the first place. What is wrong with me? He thought to himself. He then began picking at his food in a lovesick sort of way. It was then that he realized he had totally forgotten what he had ordered. That scared him because he was very observant normally but he had been so preoccupied with the woman at the other table he couldn't remember. He vaguely remembered pointing to the menu, but he couldn't remember what at. Lets see, Chers got the stew, what was it made of again? Something from Bakura I think, Pearl Fish. Callista got the...Fried Grandien. And I got...Dewback! DEWBACK?! I don't even like Dewback! I cannot believe I ordered that! Gross.

Chera meanwhile was perfectly bored with this entire situation. A few minutes ago Jerik had stopped looking at the brunette woman because she had caught him, but now he was just picking at his food and eating. Callista was still doing the exact same thing she had been doing before. So once again Chera was left to wonder why she had been stuck at this table. At least if that Starlighter woman was here it would be funny watching Jerik and her, but now I'm not even really hungry. This is going to be one boring trip!So Chera leaned backward and began to meditate. She knew it was the best thing she could do right now anyway, it would calm her mind and it would kill time. She concentrated on everything, pushing her sphere of responsibility outward to engulf everyone in the cantina. She once again felt determination, and pain, but this was different, this was from traders, and pilots. This cantina was nice, as cantinas went, but the people here weren't from Naboo. She wanted to feel the locals, so she stretched her sphere of responsibility outward even farther, and farther, until it was larger then she had ever made it before. Then she felt them, a few locals not a hundred yards away. They were two men, barely older then her. Working in a field. They were tired, and frustrated at something. She tried to calm them, to help them, to make them feel better. Then she caught something. On the edge of town, it was dark, and it was trying to hide itself from her. She felt evil; it was cold, impersonal. She felt it feel her, it was going to try to find her location, most likely to destroy her, but she wanted to know what it was doing, so she stretched harder. She could almost hear it calling to her in much the same way Maul did, Chera, Chera, Chera! "Chera, Chera! Chera!" Luke's voice snapped her out of her thoughts and startled her as she felt her connection with the evil one break. She fell over backward taking her chair with her. "Are you all right?" she heard Jerik ask.
"We've got to get off this planet." She exclaimed "Now!" she almost screamed after nobody said anything,
"Woah, woah, woah!" Callista said gently, "What are you talking about?"
"You, uhhh, Starlighter," she said to the brunette woman,
"Sydnee," the woman responded "that's my real name." She added after seeing the confusion on Chera's face. "Yeah, whatever, Sydnee, can your ship get us all off of this planet? Jerik's had difficulties when we landed."
"Did not!" Jerik said sounding slightly annoyed "The Dark Abyss is still as good as the day I bought her! Why she could...."
"There is something seriously wrong here, if we don't leave now we might never leave. Can you get us off?"
"No, not all of us," Sydnee said, "The Sol Flare only has room for three on board."
"Blast!" Chera said sounding distressed "Is there any other way off this planet?" she asked looking to Luke and Callista, Mara didn't seem to like this any more then she would having a tooth pulled by a Rancor,
"Chera," Luke began, "you haven't..."
"Wait just one minute here!" Mara exclaimed, "I'm not leaving this place without the spice Karrde sent me here for." She said indignantly. Just then Sydnee chimed in with "Look we can't leave this place until we get Jerik's ship fixed, so we might as well just stay next door in the hotel like we had planned."
"All right," Chera said, sounding defeated, "I'll stay, just please, if anyone else feels something like this, then can we leave?" the others all nodded in silent agreement.

Night time fell on the capital city of Theed showing the lights of city. "They are here Master." Mallice said.
"I know" he replied.
"What do you want me to with them?"
"Make sure that they make their way to the palace. Then I will confront them my self."
With that Darth Mallice the Dark Lord of the Sith walked out of the palace throne room. He was the Dark Lord of the Sith. Not that concoction of a spirit. He has no power without me. Mallice thought as he walked to his chambers. He walked over to his com panel and pressed a button. "Would you come here please?" Mallice said. "Coming." a female voice replied. Mallice sat down at his chair and waited.

A female walked into Mallice's room and sat down at one of the chairs opposite of Mallice. "What do you want?" the female said.
"Callista dead. She is getting to close."
"Consider it done."
"Good."
The female walked out of Mallice's room. He was pleased the Jedi will answer to him, he would have his revenge. Walking into refresher station he got ready for bed.

Sydnee walked up to the counter at the hotel. "I need three rooms." The clerk at the counter was a Gungan with pale orange skin. He was obviously old. "That will besin 73 credits." He said. Sydnee handed the Gungan a one hundred credit coin. "Here you go." The Gungan took the credits and gave Sydnee her change and the key cards for the rooms. "Thank yousa and haven a nica night." Sydnee nodded her head and walked over to where the group was sitting in the lobby. She handed the key cards to Luke. "Do you want to do the honors?" With a shrug of the shoulders. "Sure, OK. Let?s see here Sydnee and Chera can share and room. Mara and myself can share one and last but not least Jerik you can take the last one."
