Who Needs Jesus?

God Doesn't Have Grandchildren! How Do I Become Saved?
Have you ever heard of God being described as a grandfather? I think not. We always hear people saying that they are a Child of God, or that God is their Father. Contrary to popular belief, everyone is not a Child of God. We are all CREATURES of God, because He made us all -- but all have not accepted Jesus Christ, the Son of God, as their personal Savior. Therefore, those who have not, are not His children.

Once a person accepts Christ, then they become a member of the Royal Family -- with God as their Father.

One does not become saved, or is a child of God simply because their Momma or their Papa is. Salvation is a personal thing. You don't inherit salvation. It's a free gift that is presented to everyone individually. It's a gift that can only be fulfilled if you accept it.
First, you must know that without Christ as your Savior, you are lost. You must realize that Jesus Christ died for your sins. He died in a place that each one of us should have died. He paid a debt that He did not owe.

You must believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and without the shedding of His blood, we would be eternally separated from God. Jesus bridged the gap. God loved us so much that He wanted to spend eternity with us. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. That whosever believeth in Him shall not perish (die), but have everlasting life."-- John 3:16 -- The way has been made. Jesus Christ is the Way.

You must also believe that not only did Jesus Christ die for your sins, but that God raised Him from the dead. And not only that -- He is coming back again for His believers. No one knows when, but Jesus is coming back again.
I Can't Believe What I Don't See Say The Word
If you feel that way, you're not alone. You're not unusual. In fact, many people feel that way. But, salvation is not contingent upon what you "see". It is based on what you believe. To believe without seeing is not being "blind", but it is a strong show of FAITH. Faith is believing what you can't see. You may not be able to "see" in the sense of understanding fully the act of salvation -- but it doesn't change the truth.

Do you know where you will spend eternity? Do you know what will happen to you after you die? If you have accepted Christ as your Savior, you should know that you will live forever with the Lord.

A person is either born once and dies twice, or is born twice and dies once. Either you're saved, or you're lost. Either you believe, or you don't. The person who never accepts Christ, who is never born again, dies both physically and spiritually. The person who has accepted the Lord Jesus dies physically, however, the new spiritual life within is eternal.

So, whether you can "see" this or not, the question remains: Do you have faith enough to know that Jesus Christ can be your Savior? The choice is yours. Jesus knocks at the door of your heart. He will not force Himself into your life. You must open the door and allow Him in. Again, the choice is yours.
There's a song that says: "If you want to be born again, just say the word." It really is that simple. You must speak (confess) your sins and ask Christ into your life. The following is a SAMPLE prayer that is recommended. However, you can speak to God in your own words. Speak from your heart. To assist you, think along these words:

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

I would like to share with you scripture that you should read for yourself as it relates to salvation. I also ask that you contact me if you have just accepted Christ as your Savior. Click on my e-mail address at the bottom of this page (or any page on the site) and let me know of the wonderful decision you've just made. You are now my sister, or brother, in Christ. Also, if you are in need of a Bible, please let me know. I will make sure that you recieve one. Finally, I encourage you to join a local congregation so that you will be fed and taught. If you need guidance in finding a church, contact me and I'll help out as best I can.

Here are the steps and scriptures relating to your new birth:

JESUS SAID: "I am the way, the truth.and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(John 14:6)
1)Admit that you are a sinner and only our Lord Jesus can save you.(Roman's 3:23)
2)Repent and be willing to turn away from sin and submit to God.(Luke 13:5)
3)Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood, paying the price for your sins and that He rose again.(Roman's 10:9)
4)Ask God to save you.
5)Ask Jesus to take control of your life.
