Can I submit my poetry to this site?
Yes you can. If you go to the
"your poetry" page you will find all the information on how to submit
your poem.
If I submit my work, how do I know I won't be plagiarized?
When you submit your poem, you
will be asked to provide your name, this will be the name that will be present
with your poem. You also have an option to submit additional information which
you wish to be present with your poem also. There is also a tick box which you
must confirm you are the owner of the poem. For your poem to appear on the site,
this box must be ticked upon submission. If any poem is found to have been plagiarized
it will be removed from the site and a verbal warning will be send to the plagiarizer.
Do I have to submit to this site?
No, it is your decision to
submit your work to this site. Although I would love to have as many poems added
to my site as possible.
How do I submit to the site?
Go to the "your
poetry" site and read the instructions then fill out the submission form.
How long will it take
until my poetry appears on the site?
It should take up to 36 hours
until your poem appears on the site. This is because I will be placing it on
manually and reviewing it to make sure it doesn't break any of the site rules.
Do I have to enter the contest if I submit my work?
No. When you submit your poem
there is a tick box which you must tick if you DO NOT want your poem to be
entered into the contest. Otherwise the poem will be automatically entered into
the contest.
Does the contest have a entering fee?
No, it is a free contest.
What could I Win?
There will be a trophy place
beside your poem and it will be featured in the e-newsletter. It will also be announced
on the top of the "your poetry" page. You can receive a gold, silver,
bronze trophy or a runner up star.
How many poems can I enter?
You can submit as many poems
as you like to the site. However in each contest only the FIRST THREE POEMS
submitted at that time will be entered into the contest.
