Good old link941 he always sends me cool stuff. well he sent me a letter just
the other day saying that you could get a fire sword and told me that it worked
but i don't have an older cart. so i can't test it so im not sure that this
works but try it any ways and if it works please email me and tell me ok.
well here is what he said.
How to get the Fire Sword

This is no rumor this trick really does work i tryed it on my Zelda, it can kill any regular enemy in one hit. This is a mega glitch found by the makers, the new version doesnt work.

1.When you start a game enter the name FireS (notice the F and S is capitilized) then play as usual. Now comes the hard part.
2.You have to defeat all of the first three bosses when you are a child, during each battle with each boss, do not get hit once, if you do the code will be messed up.
3.Now continue on and change into an adult, when you've changed go get Epona.
4.Now after you jump the fence with Epona stay on her and let time pass for three days. (One day for each boss you fought when you were a child)
5.Now continue on and before your showdown in Ganons Castle, save your game, then travel back in time to your childhood.
6.While in your child hood, go outside of Links house and chop down his sign in front of his house, now play Zeldas Lullaby and make it go back to normal.
7.Now just go back to links adult stage and go to Ganons Castle, and during the first battle with Ganon press start and go to your sword selection and press R,R,R,L,L,L. If done correctly the Fire Sword should be in your hands when you go back to battle.

NOTE: Every time you press start the sword is gone,to use it again just repeat the RRR,LLL
