Shar Pei health is very important. Many things can go wrong when having a Shar Pei as a pet. Here are a list of things.
1:Entropion. Entropion is a condition in which the dog's wrinkles role over their eyes,which may cause them to go blind,and need surgery as soon as possible.(My dog Cleo had this surgery)
2:Familial Shar Pei fever. This is a fever in which only Shar Pei's get as you can tell by the name. Shar Pei's may expierence fevers of high degrees from 100-110 degrees, Take you're Shar Pei to the vet as soon as possible.
3:Tight lip syndrom. Tight lip sydrom is usually connected with an over bite. It makes it hard for the Shar Pei to chew,and maybe surgically correctible.
