So I guess I owe you guys an update. Eastern has been going awesome. Party wise that is, I've started off pretty rough in school, but I'm sure it'll change, it always does. I alwasy start off rough and end up doubting myself, but end up doing fine in the class so nothing to get worried about. Anyways, I've been to a lot of parties with the Phi Kappa Theta fraternity. They're cool guys, they want me to rush their frat, but I'm not going to do it. You see, I've always been one to say I'm not going to do something, or I dislike something, but then I end up doing it or liking it, and I'm tired of being a hypocrite. Plus I know some people back home who wouldn't be too thrilled with the news of me being in a frat. They're cool guys, don't get me wrong, but I don't want the label of being in a frat, and I don't feel the need to belong to something. I'm more independent and have been on my own my whole life. To me frats are like popular groups; you're either in or out. An example of this was just this past Saturday night when I went to another one of their parties and I asked the guy with the cups for a cup and he was like are you going to rush our house? And I was like probably not, so then he charged me $5 for the cup. That's fine, people have to pay $5 for cups anyways, but the fact that before Saturday night I drank their free all the time because they thought I was going to rush their house for sure, but now that I said probably not, I have to pay, that just bugs me. Another thing that bugs me is that the party they came to at my house I let anyone who lived in their main party house drink for free at our party because I thought they were all cool guys, and the guy who made me pay was one of the ones who drank free. I guess they're not drinking free from now on because why should they if they make me pay? Another thing I want to talk about is Andrew and Missy. I'm sorry, you two are cool as hell, but you have to cut this shit out. You two are NOT dating anymore, Missy HAS a boyfriend. You two need to GET OVER EACH OTHER already. Your little fights depress me and make me not want to be around. Notice how I leave the room a lot at parties? That's the reason why. Seriously you two, just stop, I'm probably not the only one who is annoyed by it. I still love you guys, but you gotta stop. It's gotten so annoying for me that I left Saturday's party while I was buzzing, and I drove home from there. I drove under the influence because of you two. Seriously, cut it out. Anyways, I'm coming home Thursday night. I should be home around 9ish, and will be home all day friday and part of Saturday, so if you want to hangout or somethin gimme a ring. Saturday I'm going with Lauren to Bradley to party with her brother at his house for Super Bowl. If you want to come with you can cause it's a huge house, just you'd have to drive separatly because we're leavin Bradley on Sunday to go straight back to Eastern, no stopping back home. My roommate Scott is a crazy bastard. He drinks a lot, but he's awesome. He's a funny kid, he likes to spend his free time falling in ponds in the winter, good guy to know ha ha. My other roommate Dave recently found out that over the summer he made out with his sister's girlfriend. That is amazing, what is even more amazing is that he wrote a song about it the night he found out. That's right, I live with a bunch of musicians. Scott and Bill have their own little band of the two of them and I have to admit their songs are pretty good. Girls keep trying to dance up on me and shit and parties and I just walk away because I dislike when girls do that. Just trying to have a good time? Good for you, have a good time somewhere else because doing that sends mixed signals and I hate that shit. I just like to chill when I drink. Yes, I can get pretty loud when I drink, but I don't go dancing on people. It's just something I don't do, and I won't ever do it to you. It's not because I don't like you, it's because I don't dance and I think it's really stupid. But if that's how you have a good time, that's fine with me, just don't do it to me because it really bugs me. What doesn't bug you Bob? Kiss my ass, that's what doesn't bug me. Actually, don't kiss my ass, that's just disgusting. Don't ask me what doesn't bug me? Because asking me that bugs me. Yeah. Get it? Got it? Good. Cathy thinks I've changed since I've come here. Well, Cathy, you're the only one who thinks so, so I guess you're SOL on that one. I don't think I'm better than you because I'm here and you're there, I feel sorry for you because you're there and I'm here because I know how much it sucks back home. It's very boring, leave it at that. I'm going to be coming home the weekend of Lincoln's B-day for 3-4 days as well, and then the next weekend I have to come home which is the 24th-26th I'll be home because on the 25th I have traffic school. So, you'll have time to catch me back in the suburbs of Chicago around then. Anyways, I'm rambling, so I'm just going to stop. Later.

Don't really have a purpose for this update. Just felt like writing something, so I'm just going to go with it. Last weekend I went home thurs night and went and saw Underworld Evolution with Joe that night. Good movie, recommend seeing it, but see the first one first. The next day I just went out to lunch/dinner with my Mom and sisters at Leona's; some italian place on 95th street in Oak Lawn. Then after that I stopped by my work and said hello to Jamie and Courtney who gave me their numbers and told me to call them sometime and they'd come party at Eastern, also said hello to Luis, the Assistan Manager of Great Wraps. Told them when I could work coming up which happens to be the next two weekends, and then again on my spring break which is March 13-19. Take note of that. Anyways, last saturday I went with Lauren to Bradley to hangout with her brother Adam at his house down there for super bowl weekend. This was a crazy night, Lauren consumed a lot of beer, and I consumed a lot of SoCo and CANNONBALL!!!!!! Cannonball is a cheap whine and when you drink it you gotta say CANNONBALL!!!! and chug for 3 seconds. I did that a lot, so I got pretty wasted. During the night we went to La Bamba, which is some crappy mexican food place, but only option for food around 2am where we were, but funny story...We get there and get our food and across from my table some dude chucks his taco salad all over this girl. We're talkin sour cream in the hair, salsa on the shirt, salad every where. Funny shit, so I'm not enjoyin my burrito and one of Adam's friends, Brian takes my burrito cause I don't want it and chucks it over at the other table from our party which was on the other side of the restaraunt. It was funny, we started a food fight, good thing we left shortly after that otherwise we probably woulda been kicked out. So that was fun, good times at Bradley all around. Not going to talk about Super Bowl except that The Bears need to go after Randle El cause he said he wants to play for Chicago, so we need to pick him up for sure. During the week nothing special happened, had 3 tests on Thursday, I'd say I did fairly well, but we'll see come Tuesday. The day before that, Muj flew down to Eastern and flew over our house which was fucking awesome. I have a picture of it on my digital camera, but it's like a spec in the sky, but once I post that picture and you see the spec you'll know what it is. After class Thurs Andrew and I went and checked out an Apartment we might get for next semester. It's alright, but we definitely should look around still. After that I wanted to get wasted because I had 3 tests earlier and my brain had done too much thinking, but that never happened. I ended up buying Waiting and watching that with Bill, Dave, Scott, and Kara and that was pretty much that night. Friday was pretty much sit around and do nothing all day. By the time 10pm rolled around I called up Andrew and headed over to the party he was at, but I got there around 11pm and they had just finished off their 3rd keg and everyone left. I guess they started drinking around 4, but nobody called me, whatever. Um, take what I said for Friday and that's exactly what I did Saturday. Sat around did nothing all day, watched movies, ate food, watched TV, and again nobody called me to go out. Whatever, I don't care, I wanted to give myself a break from drinking kind of anyways so it kind of worked out for the better. Next weekend I'll be coming home Thursday night again just to come home. Prob going to be working Fri-Sat at Great Wraps and hangin out with who ever wants to hangout those days. The weekend after that I am coming home that Thursday night too and working that Friday and have traffic school the 25th from 1-5pm. Gonna be hanging out with who ever whenever I get the chance these next two weekends so if you want to do something, call me or whatever, but yeah, I'm done for now. PEACE!

Yes, people I am still alive. I haven't drank myself six feet under yet. Though that would be interesting. Bears signed Brian Griese. I'm psyched about that cause now Grossman has someone to keep him on his toes and since Grossman is injury prone we now have a proven backup rather than Kyle Orton. Dane Cook is coming to the All State Arena April 13th or 14th, tickets are pretty expensive so I doubt I'll pick any up, but you never know.I got an A on my first official University paper. Fucking score. I've turned my grades around pretty much, except Macroeconomics...still getting a D in that one, but I'm getting a B in History of American Journalism, B in Advanced Reporting, C in Copy Editing, and C in Cognitive Psychology, but that'll change to a B once I get an A on my paper in that class. I got my first article in Eastern's paper a while ago. It's about Gun lawsn and Gun control...if you want to read it let me know I have like 10 copies of it. Stagg's water polo team is 8-2. I'm so happy for them because once my senior class graduated they were fucked for two years and completely sucked. But yeah, go Stagg water polo. Good to see you're on the winning track again, good luck with the rest of your games. My spring break was March 10-19th. It was pretty good. I worked the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. Good seeing everyone at work, good making some money. I grabbed some lunch with Mujahid one of the days over break...that was good seeing him. On St. Patrick's Day I threw a pretty big bash at the apartment back in Oak Lawn. It was intense. I got pretty fucked up...I drank half a gallon of Captain Morgan. Joe, Jen, JT, Emily, Trish, Jamie, Jim, Bill, Scott, Amy, Sarah, Sarah's friend, and Andrew were all in attendance at some point or another. Ok, so we're starting up a softball team this summer and apparently I'm like the only one who wants Brad Bovenkerk on the team. Brad has played with us in our pickup games over the last three summers. He rarely missed a pickup game and is dedicated. Problem is he isn't the greatest player, and not many people are a fan of him. I love the kid. I love his dedication. I love his sarcastic cracks at anything and everything. I want him on the team. I started a petition in my Bobby McRoubs profile, so if you've played softball with us over the last three summers and think Brad deserves a shot to be on the team, let me know and I will put your screenname on the petition. I think with the proper guidance for Brad he could be really good. He makes some dumb mistakes, but I think I could change that. I want him on the team, damnit. Anyways if he is willing to pay his share to be on the team, and we are six guys short right now...why not let him on the team? It is cruel to deprive someone of playing sports if they want to play. It's time to grow up and put differences aside. I am not exactly fond of everyone who is going to be on the team, but I don't care I just want to play. I am willing to work with anyone when it comes to sports. I think with the guys we have already and with Brad we could have a solid team. C'mon let Brad play. We're having a party here at our house at Eastern this Saturday. If you want to come gimme a ring 708-567-5388 or just show up after 8pm some time. 12th and Cleveland baby! Alright, well that's all I want to talk about for now. Gotta get some sleep. PEACE.

This update is basically just to talk about the insane party we had here Saturday night. I was pregamming in my room at about 8pm until 9pm and I had probably a drink and a half in me when people started showing up. This was weird to me because people don't start showing up to our parties until like 11 or 11:30pm. Anyways, I had a good buzz when people started to come and once they started they didn't stop coming. Our first keg was gone by 10pm. Keep in mind that Bill and I spent $100 total on this party. So by 10pm the keg is dry, so Bill and I go get another keg with money we have already made from the party. Kegs are roughly $50 depending on what you get, so in one hour we made at least $50 from selling cups. By the end of the night Bill and I profited $80 each, AND we bought a $50 keg so basically we spent $100 and profited $210 by midnight because by midnight the 2nd keg had gone dry. So then people started leaving around 1am, so I left then too for another party. Ok, our party was so huge that the bus that drives around campus and picks drunk kids up and drives them around was coming to and leaving our house. Bill said one time it dropped off like 10 people and like 10 people got on the bus, it was crazy. I was talkin to Lauren and Katie for a while at this party and taking money for cups a lot. When I went out front one time I saw Andrew and his fraternity brother Ben outside with a couple other guys from their fraternity and I didn't even know they were coming because I heard they had to be sober all weekend because national members of the fraternity were going to be here, but they said they could drink. Anyways, back to seeing Andrew and Ben outside. They ask me for cups so I walk back around the house and go in the back because it was just easier and when I get the cups I come back around the house and fall up our front porch steps. It was hilarious, but not so hilarious right now because my ankle and knee were bothering me today. Anyways this party was the most people I've ever seen in our house ever. We sold over 60 cups and there had to be at least 100 people here at one point. Right now I'm about 30 minutes away from having Saw 2 on my computer and I'm excited. The movie is such a mind fuck, I love it. I'm also downloading seasons 1-8 of South Park, that's about half done and it's probably going to take a few more days. Ummm, Jen Fako drove out here all the way from Woodridge, IL on Saturday to come to our party for like an hour, so it was good to see her, but god damn she is crazy for doing that. She got here by like 10-10:30pm and had to be home by 3am. So yeah, she stayed about an hour, but whatever haha her life not mine. For those of you who do not know where Woodridge, IL is it is about 3 and a half hours away from Eastern, all depends how you drive though. I'm cutting this update off here, I basically just wanted to tell you guys about the party we had and to thank everyone who came because it was probably best party I've been to/hosted here at my stay at Eastern so far.

Just chillin right now listenin to some Silverstein. Amanda, friend of Andrew's, is comin over soon and we're going to play some mario kart. She's been talkin shit, I've been talkin some shit, we're going to settle this once and for all haha. Uh over the weekend on Friday I got schwasted (that's the cool way to say really wasted because I SAID SO.) and was actually dancing with this girl Jenna, or at least putting forth a sad attempt at it. It was funny cause I kept falling over cause I was schwasted and I kept pointing out the fact that I'm a big fat white guy, dancing and I don't mix, but it was just funny. Man I had at least a fifth of captain in me for sure. Lets just say I was good to go. That was a fun night, probably one of the best I've had here at Eastern. The next night I stayed sober and threw a bonfire in the backyard. Andrew was definitely schwasted. I think he was beyond schwasted. He was super schwasted. This fire was pretty awesome. We burned a table, it was cool as hell. I threw in our fake Christmas tree and oh my god if you would have been in the front of our house looking at our house you would have thought it was on fire...that's how much smoke came from the tree and how thick it was, not to mention how toxic it was, it was a bad idea haha...I definitely thought the cops were gonna come to our house for that one, but they never did so fuck it. Cuttin this update short, might come back and put more in if I can later, but people will be here soon PEACE!
