So right now I'm gettin ready to go to work, but I figured I'd update all my loyal site people on what's been going on. Between now and the last update school has turned around for me, I'm doing ver well. I couldn't be happier with my job, it's a good environment and I enjoy being at work. Tomorrow I have my orientation at Eastern at fuckin 8:15am, which means I have to leave here around 5am, which sucks, but whatever. I am going to be most likely living in a house with Joe Wuchter, Chris Sobut, Mike Moritz, Shane Shadein, and Bill Sekulawicz if all goes according to plan. That will be amazing if it happens, if not, my fall back plan is staying with Andrew Jacobs in his triple that he has to himself. That basically means he has a dorm that could fit three people all to himself because him and his roommate from last semester bought it as a double, but then he called Andrew up sometime over the summer tellin him he's not gonna be comin back, so Andrew has been enjoying the triple to himself and said I could live with him if I wanted. I've been listening to a lot of Panic! At The Disco lately, and if you like Fall Out Boy I strongly recommend checking this band out. Their singers sound so much alike it's sick, but they're both kick ass bands. So this past weekend I went down to Eastern on Thurs night and stayed til Sun afternoon. It was a fun time, saw Lauren on Thurs night at a party I told her to come to. Saw Bill Senese on Thurs night at his house when I got drunk and walked over to his place which was like 10 blocks away. I never woulda walked there if I was drunk, but I was and did, so yeah. Then I came back to the party I was at with Andrew and Missy. By the end of the night they both yacked, it was amusing. I think the beer bongs did it to them. Anyways, since it was a THURSDAY night we left around 12am and passed out in Andrew's dorm, but before then Andrew yacked some more in the bathroom of his dorm, while I held his head over the sink. Funny moment: Before I was over helping him make it in the sink I went and took a piss and I when I turned around to see if he was alright, he was on the floor, dumb ass fell over, hahahaha. Helped him up, then he continued to introduce his insides to the sink. That was that night, fun times. The next day Andrew had a speech in his 9:30am class, so I slept through him being at class then he came back and woke me up. We watched the Untold Story of Stewie Griffin. Funny as shit. Eventually the day passed and night was upon us, so we went back to the house where we partied last night and partied some more. I got pretty drunk, it was great. I talked to Hollywood and his GF Terry briefly. I was just startin to get pretty drunk off my vanilla smirnoff and coke when the fuckin land lady showed up and told everyone they had to leave. Who the fuck ruins a homecoming party? On a FRIDAY NIGHT! What a yatch snatch face whore. Before this though one of the parents of one of the guys in the frat showed up playin bags, it was fucking amazing, when he was done jammin he was like "The parents sent me over here to play this music to celebrate the victory of The White Sox tonight!!!" It was amazing. I have to go to work now though, so I will be back with part two of this update later tonight.
:::Part 2:::
Ok, so I didn't finish the update til a couple days later, who gives a shit? I watched the new south park last night and they already made an episode ripping what happened in New Orleans, that's hilarious. "Who builds a city beneath a beaver dam?!?" So funny, but anyways, back to Eastern. Saturday was pretty awesome. Andrew, Missy, and all the other crazy kids at Eastern got up around 7am for beer breakfast and I was like fuck that I need sleep, so I slept through it. After that we went tailgaiting before the homecoming game, which was alright, but I ran into Joe Wuchter there. He told me to come by his house later in the evening to watch the sox game and I was like alright, got his number and shit. So later that night I'm at his house at this crazy party. Joe Wuchter, Shane Shadein, Mike Moritz, Dan Wuchter, Matt Wuchter, Mark Wuchter, Lucy Blunk, Joe Paluch, Mark Kluk, Ryan Halleran, Steve Janos, Ahmed Yousef, Laura Pratt, Valerie Blaszack, Chris Sobut, Mike McGlennon, Bill Sekulawicz, John Meyer, and a crap load of other people were there to cheer on the sox and drink some beer. It was awesome catching up with some of the guys I hadn't seen in years like Steve Janos and Ryan Halleran. By the time I got to this party I was already buzzin off my vanilla vodka and coke, and then I had 4 beers when I got there. That's bad for two reasons. One, beer is fucking gross. Two, I recently discovered beer doesn't make me a happy, fun drunk. It makes me a mellow, angry drunk, and that's bad because it ruins it for me. So no more beer for me kids. By the way this house I was at: Joe Wuchter, John Meyer, Chris Sobut, Shane Shadein, Bill Sekulawicz, and Mike Moritz all live in as roommates and they're looking for another roommate since Meyer is going to be leaving EIU after this semester, so I'm in the running for that, but if that doesn't happen I'll just like with Andrew in his triple in Weller Hall.

So another one of my good friends is leaving my life again. Paul Granholm leaves for the Air Force before Thanksgiving. This sucks. At least I got to spend some quality time with him and Justin Young together before they both left my life. By the way, Justin Young was in town for 9 days 2 weeks ago and it was probably the best 9 days of my life in a long time. That is how much the kid and our friendship means to me. And now he has to go off to Iraq again before Christmas, and this time he could be there for a year, possibly more. That would really suck, and I do not know what I would do if that does actually happen. I just want you to know Justin, as you read this I am thinking about that, and I will always have you in my head and heart and you can count on that. The same thing goes for you Paul. I know you're only going to be going to Basic Training at first, but still, you are joining the Air Force and there's a chance you will be over in Iraq sooner than you think and I will always have you in my heart. I don't care how gay that sounds to anyone, fuck off. If two of your best friends left your lives to defend your freedom, then you would say the same damn thing. In other news, I am going to be leaving for Eastern Illinois in like the 2nd week of January I believe and oh man am I excited about that. I finally get to leave suburbia and party like I've never partied before. Granted I am going to have to hit the books hard now that I am at an actual university, but believe me I will have my fair share of partying, oh yes. This is going to be awesome because I will be around Andrew Jacobs a lot more now because he goes there too. We have grown apart in a way, though we are still friends, but now he has "the big bro he never had" watching over him again, and I have "the little bro I never had" watching over me again and I love it. So Andrew temporarily was making an appearance here or there, but we will be reunited come 2nd week of January at Eastern Illinois University. The kid means a lot to me, and it is going to help me a lot to know I have one of my greatest friends of all time along side me for the ride at Eastern. It is also going to help me get by knowing Justin is in Iraq, Paul is in the Air Force, and Andy Finnigan is in Virginia making a living and experiencing life first hand. Not to fear though people who I will be leaving behind here. Frank Bonham, Joe Paluch, JT Emperado, Jen Fako, Jessica Roubik, Kristine Roubik, Mujahid Ghori, Pete Connelly, Cathy Kazzaz. Anyone else I forgot to mention I am sorry, but if you feel you should be mentioned let me know and I'll throw your name in this update. I will not forget any of you people because you have all been there for me in some form or another over the years, and if you ever want to let loose for a weekend, call me up, IM me, email me, telepathically communicate to me, however you want to get a hold of me, and just come down to Eastern and I will show you my appreciation for what you have done for me over the years by having you drink, drink, and drink some more! Anyone who wants to visit me at Eastern is more than welcome and I just want to make that perfectly clear right now.
In case you cared, I am going to be majoring in Journalism at Eastern, and minoring in Psychology. Crazy combination isn't it? Well, I'm a crazy kid, and crazy things interest me. I hope to one day write about psychology, and I would really like to write about the relations between psychology and sports. But, in the field of journalism, when you're out of college, you have to take what you can get, and that is exactly what I am going to do.
EIU We Pregrame Like You Party...PEACE!

So I'm just chillin, waitin for my frozen pizza to be unfrozen so and baked so I can eat it. I gotta go to work soon, workin 3:30-10:30, gonna be fun times. Love my job, love my co-workers (most of them at least). They love me too, they all tell me how they're gonna miss me too much when I'm at Eastern. It's ok though, I told them I'll probably come back for a weekend here or there to work when I need some money. Also, I'll be back for a week for spring break whenever that is at Eastern. Anyways, finals are next week for Moraine. And Christmas is the week after that, and first day of classes at Eastern is January 9, 2006. Kinda short break for me this year, but oh well, I just can't wait to get out of this town and be at Eastern. I need this so bad. A lot of my friends have left my life pretty much and I need to meet new people. I need to get out of this town, I feel stuck in the mud and I'm about to break out. Um...The Bears are kicking some ass in football. 9 game winning streak they got goin'. I've been telling people they are going to win the Super Bowl and the Bulls are going to win the NBA Championship because this is Chicago's year. Hey, a guy can hope can't he? Just wait, when they do it, you'll be like, "Wow, Bob was right, and I'm a douche." Or something along those lines, haha. I'm gonna be livin in a house with Bill Senese, a high school buddy of mine and fellow water polo mate. Also, two other guys: Scott and some other guy. I met them both, but I've hungout with Scott and got to know him a bit and he's a cool guy. Other guy when I was there he just locked himself in his room pretty much cause I guess he dates a chick Bill and Scott don't get along with, lol. That's just funny. If anyone wants to hangout before I leave for Eastern on probably Jan 6th, then you need to call me or get a hold of me somehow and we'll do whatever. The White Sox signed Jim Thome and resigned Paul Konerko. That's huge, now they have two 30-40+ HR bats in their lineup. They also have not lost anyone of value, so it's very possible we could see a repeat World Series. Again, a guy can hope can't he? Rafael Furcal signed with the Dodgers. That's kind of a bummer for me, he's my fav shortstop in baseball, and if the Cubs would have gotten him, I might have purchased a few Cubs' game tickets just to see him play. Thomas Jones got his first 1,000 yard rushing season in his career and I am extremely happy about that because he's probably the most underrated and overlooked back in the league and I love the guy. What I am not happy about however, is Kyle Orton. The guy is a joke, put in Hutchinson, do something, ANYTHING. As much as I think Hutchinson sucks, I think he'll be able to get the ball to receivers better than Orton can. Orton, just because you're on a 9 game winning streak doesn't mean you're good. Nah, the D has won all the games pretty much. And Thomas Jones, work horse, frequently gets them into the redzone, but Orton can never throw a damn TD. Thomas Jones can only do so much, he can't score all the time. I want to play football and softball over break, so that better happen, or I'll be angry. Though, it probably isn't the greatest thing in the world for my back right now to play football, maybe I'll just play QB or something, but yeah, snow football is the shit. Anyways, time to get ready for work, later.
:::Tues, Dec 27th, 2:03pm:::
So my X-mas was decent. Got to see my Mom's side of the fam on X-mas eve and we all exchanged gifts and had X-mas dinner and what not. I mostly got money from them, and some White Sox stuff. From the mother I got clothes, money, cologne, some White Sox stuff, and the 40 year old virgin DVD. From the sisters I got The Untold Story of Stewie Griffin, and The 2nd season of South Park. X-mas day was spent here with the father and sisters where we had an X-mas dinner and exchanged gifts. From the father I got money, White Sox stuff, Dartboard w/ spare darts, and a DVD holder for college. Rex Grossman is back for The Bears and I'm so happy cause now they have an even better chance of winning the super bowl. He's pretty much doubled their scoring now that he's back and I love it. In other news...I know Justin is off in Iraq defending our freedoms as we speak, but he told me for at least a year he'll be there and I heard from someone else he said 3-4 months only. It'd be nice if it was only 3-4 months, but I don't know what to believe because he's lied to me before. You'd think I'd be able to trust one of my best friends, but honestly, I really can't because he's lied to me many times before, so I really don't know who to believe. Whatever, why he can't just be straight forward with me is beyond me. I don't lie to him, I give him a place to stay when he comes home, and I tell him I love him like a brother, but yet he still lies to me. Is he trying to protect me? Does he just not think I can handle truth? It disturbs me that someone that means so much to me would lie to me about anything. My time here is coming to an end, thank god. On Jan 7th, I'll be leaving for Eastern, which is a Saturday, and the following Monday, Jan 9th, is my first day of classes at Eastern. I cannot wait, I'm so ready for this. I will never be bored out of my mind on a Friday again! THANK YOU JESUS! I don't think I'm going to write for the paper there for the first semester because I want to adjust to actual college level work, plus I want to have fun before I get serious, which if I was writing for the paper and studying at the same time I don't think I'd have much of a social life cause I'd always be busy. I want to get out there and meet new people before I isolate myself behind a desk and write for a paper while I'm there. Oh, before I go, I'd just like to mention Andrew Jacobs is single again, so ladies, he's yours for the taking, haha. Yeah, I guess Missy broke up with him, but they're still good friends which is cool cause Missy is cool and I'd like for us to remain friends. I'm takin Andrew to the Everclear concert on Jan 1st for his b-day/x-mas present. He turns 20 on Jan 5th, so happy early b-day yo. Uh, yeah, kinda short update, but I just felt like writing a bit so later.
:::Sat, Jan 7, 2006, 6:50pm:::
So I'm sitting here in my new room down at Eastern and I'm loving it so far. I feel so free right now it's not even funny. First night in, got my "Shit Happens When U Party Naked" shirt on of course because we're having a house party tonight. This aught to be gooooood. Can't wait. Faith by Limp Bizkit is blastin through my computer speakers right now and it's awesome. Bill's dog, Avril, is awesome. It's also awesome he named her Avril because now he can say, "Hey, I slept with Avril last night (The hot singer, jack ass)." I'm pretty tired, I should probably nap before the party, but probably won't because I'm just retarded like that. Anyways, yeah, my room is pretty sweet, got my red futon to sleep on. It's pretty pimpin'. I'm hungry, no surprise there though. I should go make some food, or go buy some, either way, I need to get some stomach for my fat ass. My parents went grocery shopping with me for the house earlier and we bought a shit ton of food so I could just go make something, but I dunno. I don't know if I'm feelin that right now. I'm feelin rather lazy, so I might just go grab food from somewhere in town. Who knows. My hands are really fuckin cold right now. WTF mate? Why are my feet and hands always cold? Anyways I need to drive the roomies to get liquor so this update will have to be cut short. |
