| ANYMORE For some reason I feel like you don't love me anymore I'm letting you in, but you won't walk through the door Even still I love you more and more each day The words 'I love you' I long to hear you say When you hold me it doesn't feel close When we talk, what I say is most My heart feels so heavy, and I so weak Sometimes I feel like it's my heart you won't keep Whenever we kiss it doesn't feel like it's meant It feels like you take me for granted, like money not well spent All I want is a simple "I love you" Nothing else, but more time spent with you LOOK Look in these lying eyes And see a happy child deep inside Look out and you'll see differently Like what's deep down inside of me Look at this fake smile But don't believe it's a happy child Look past the laughter, past the smiles And deep inside there's a crying child |
