When was giving birth
to my birthson I was 15
years old and scared to
death. Throughout the
entire pregnancy I thought
that I would keep the baby.
I thought that it was the
right thing to do. I spoke
to my family and they told
me that they would stand
behind me in whatever it was
that I chose to do. I knew
that this was going to be
the biggest decision that I
would ever make. You know
what, I was right. I have
not had to make a decision
quite as intense as that one.
At 31 years old and married
to a fantastic husband for
three years I have not had to.
The decision that I made
was tough but not one day
have I thought of it and
regreted it. Some people
might think that what I did
was selfish. And you know
what, the were right.
The selfish thing to do
would of been to keep him
and provide nothing more
than love. No food, no
shelter, just love. This
way I woulld never have to
worry if whether I was
being loved or not I was
selfish. I selfishly gave
my heart and soul to this
baby and provided him with
something that I would not
be able to provide for some
time, a home, a family and
a dad.
He in turn allowed me to
complete my education, move
on to collage, meet my
husband and move forward in
my career.
I hope that he has had a
good life and would hope
that someday he would seek
me out as I would cherish
that day like no other.
It is very hard for me to
realize that I have a birth
son that is 15 years old. I
really do not have much more
to say, only that I was
pleased to find this web site.
I have been wanting to find
something like this for some
time. Thanks for taking the
time to read this and put it
wherever it is that they go
so that he knows that I am
out here and would love to
see him anytime.
