| The Shining is ceratintly one of the scariest movies I have ever seen. A man who has an employment problem finally gets a job as a winter caretaker at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. He is desperatly trying to write his "book" (see the movie to find why book is in parenthesis) while his son and wife enjoy the huge hotel. Suddenly things go wrong- the body of two twins lying in a hall- an elevator door opening to drain a sea of blood- a corpse rising from a bathrub- the words "Redrum" written on a wall- and finally the father going insane- all helps to make this movie one of the most scary and thrilling motion pictures ever made. |
