| How Saved by the bell Started: What originally got its start as a series called "Good Morning, Miss Bliss", which starred Hayley Mills as a widowed teacher, met with a lot of changes before debuting as Saved by the Bell in 1989. The revamped show followed the adventures of Zack, Screech, Kelly, Slater, Jessie and Lisa--students at Bayside High--as they went through their high school years. Of course, four years wasn't enough for die-hard fans. The show continued to follow the characters into college and beyond, allowing fans to stay with the cast as they grew into adulthood. |
