| Martineau, Lormiere family French ancestors are from St-Fraigne, Augouleme, Anjoumois, France. I have don’t have their names. 1. Mathurin got married in Ste-Anne de Beaupre on July 16th, 1690 to Marie-Madeleine Fiset, daugther of Francois-Abraham Fiset and Denise Savard. 2. Joseph married Marie-Anne Boucher, daugther of Denis Boucher and Jeanne Miville in St- Nicolas on Feb. 4, 1727. 3. Joseph married Genevieve Lemay daugther of Joseph Louis Lemay and Geneviere Fréchet in Lotbiniere on Nov. 26, 1753. 4. Jean-Baptiste married the first time Marie-Anne Gregoire daugther of Francois Gregoire and Marie-Madeleine Bordeleau in Neuville on Nov. 17th, 1783. He remarried in St-Nicolas on June 10, 1806 to Marie-Louise Girard daugther of Gabriel Girard and Geneviere Therrien. 5. Urbain-Cain married in Yamaska to marguerite Petit-Gobin, daugther of Jean-Baptiste and Marie Lambert, on Nov. 17th, 1821. He remarried in Yamaska on Oct. 12, 1824 to Marguerite Viens, daugther of Joseph Viens and Catherine Ritchot. 6. Alexandre married in St-Aime on August 24th, 1852 to Marguerite Danis, Daugther of Joseph Danis and Marguerite Badayac. 7. Aristide married in St-Robert on Feb. 5th, 1889 to Marie Champagne, Daugther of Louis Champagne and Angele Robidoux. Alfred married in Yamaska on Nov. 23, 1886 to Emelina Laplante daugther of Guillaume Laplante and Philomene Paul. 8. Family of Alfred Martineau and Emilina Laplante Arthur married in St-Robert on February 2nd, 1909 to Anna Jacques daugther of Onesime Jacques and Deline Cote. Ste-Anne de Beaupre, St-Nicolas, Lotbiniere, Neuville and St-Nicolas are located in the Quebec City area. Yamaska St-Aime, St-Robert are located in the Richelieu valley approx. 10 miles from Sorel. |
