| Genealogy of Cournoyer said Menon Ancestors Léonard Hus, born about 1614 in France. He was married to Marguerite Lenfant (born in 1615) in Montigny near Rouen in France, Descendants Leonard Hus was the progenitor of the families later going by the names Hus, Paul, Paul-Hus, Millet, Latraverse, Capistran, Lemoine. His son Paul Hus traveled to the New Wolrd and married Jeanne Baillargeon 1 Léonard Hus married to Marguerite Lenfan from Montigny near Rouen, France. 2 Paul Hus married June 16th, 1669 in Cap de la Madeleine to Jeanne Baillargeon daugther of Mathurin Baillargeon and Marie Metayer. 3 Pierre Hus, married in St-Francois du lac October 3rd 1700 to Jeanne Venet daugther of Charles Venet and Catherine LeMagnan. 4 Jean-Baptiste Cournoyer , Sorel married to Genevieve Pelletier - Antaya daugther of Michel Pelletier-Antaya and Francoise Chateauneuf. 5 Jean-Baptiste Cournoyer , Yamaska married on June 19 1763 to Francoise Laplante - Badayac daugther of Louis Laplante - Badayac and Therese Couturier. 6 Denis Cournoyer, Sorel married on Sept. 29, 1806 to Marie Hus- Latraverse daugther of Pierre Latraverse and Exupere Labonte. 7 Paul Cournoyer Sorel married on Aug. 6th, 1850 Julie Paulhus daugther of Edouard Paulhus and Maria Dery. 8 Paul Cournoyer (my grand-grandfather) St-Robert married on Nov. 7, 1881 to Exerille Cournoyer daugther of Narcisse Cournoyer and Margguerite Cournoyer. 9 Marie-Anne Cournoyer (my grandmother) ,St-Robert married on Feb. 4th, 1902 to Felix Lemoine son of Joseph Lemoine and Marie Peloquin. 10 Joseph Aime Lemoine (my father) married July 9, 1940 in St-Ours to Rita Arpin,daugther of Arthur Arpin and Victoria Girouard. 11 Ginette Lemoine (me) married in St-Robert le June 10th, 1961, to Roger Salvas son of Ovide Salvas and Fleurette Giguere. Remarried in Longueuil, May 5th, 1989 to Raymond Bergeron, son of Alfred Bergeron and Antoinette de Billy from Victoriaville. |
