A NOTE FROM JANET
Recently my son and I attended Beverly
Enterprises
stockholders' meeting in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.
Afterthe meeting we went to
their newly constructed
corporate headquarters building, and requested a tour.
We were very politely provided the tour, and
escortedby two executives, one of whom was Mr. Dan
Springer. He is often quoted in newspapers, providing the
corporations' response to reporters.
When we reached the employee dining room, I
remarkedthat the food looked quite good. Mr. Springer
responded that they had sought and found a company
that would provide them
quality food at a low cost. I
said it was a great concept, and one that would
benefit nursing home residents.
Mr. Springer's response was
that the employees pay
for their own meals there.

FROM ILA SWAN
Advocates,
Look below and find the bonuses for the leaders
of this wonderful company.
This company stole our tax dollars.
The last news article I read stated Vencor
had defrauded our Medicare System of $1.3 Billion dollars,
but our wonderful June Gibbs Brown HHS IG
and our hard working DOJ
are collecting only 130 million of our
stolen tax dollars back from them.
This wonderful company who has slithered
it's way out of dozens of civil lawsuits
and several Qui Tams by filing
it's bankruptcy but still has the money
to give huge bonuses to it's CEO's.
Remember, I asked our wonderful June Gibbs Brown
for the same consideration as she is giving
to these nursing homes concerning
my income tax debt for this year
and also for the lien the California DHS
placed against my mother's money
she won from her lawsuit because her
wonderful nursing home almost killed her.
The very first people there with their hand out
for the money mother won, was the same agency
who so miserably failed to protect her
while she was a resident in this wonderful Nursing Home,
this nursing home who gave large contributions
to our politicians.
Our California Nursing Homes can't afford
air conditioning causing several nursing home residents
heat stroke deaths this month,
but they all can afford to continue
to pay their CEO's 6 & 7 figures in salaries,
plus bonuses and perks.
They can afford to buy off any accountability
with their contributions to our elected representative.
When will the public get
fed up enough to remove these political prostitutes
from their positions and start demanding accountability?
How many more of our elderly will have
to die horrible deaths?
How many more weeks of next year
do we have to work free so Medicare
will have ample funds for these crooks
to steal from us?
When are we going to say we refuse to pay
the wages of these dead beats who
protect the crooks instead of the citizens
who pay their wages?
