Professionals and Resources has been released.

Written by Bonnie L. Vorenberg,
an expert in senior theatre,
the book is the first compilation
of this new genre of theatre and performing.

With over 200 senior performing groups
in the US, Canada, and around the world,
the book documents theatre activity
from professional to amateur in a
wide variety of locations.

They demonstrate the magic
that happens when seniors appear on stage.
Senior Theatre Connections conveys this feeling!

The book brings all of senior theatre
together in one volume--for the first time!

Handy and concise, with many photographs
and complete contact information,
the directory directs readers
to opportunities such as community theatres,
arts agencies and associations
as well as to playwrights, publishers,
and funding sources.

The directory provides information
for all levels of expertise—from
beginning to advanced and will be useful
for everyone interested in senior performing,
from those who work in a care center
to those who are on stage
in a professional company.

The book also includes music and dance,
and provides information ranging from
the basics such as
improvisation to advanced skills
like acting in films and commercials.

Senior Theatre Connections
is a tool for practitioners,
encouraging them to expand or
initiate performing programs for seniors.

In addition, the directory will be a useful
tool for young professionals who are
exploring senior theatre as a career choice.

Senior theatre gives to everyone,
from participants to audiences.
It is physically and mentally stimulating,
