"GRAYING WITH GRACE,
A RIBBON RUNS THROUGH IT"
The Gray Ribbon is a campaign to
promote awareness of abuse, neglect, fraud and exploitation.
"Graying With Grace"
began with a handful of persons in South Dakota
tying gray ribbons on our cars
as a symbol of our concern for
the abuse, neglect, exploitation and fraud
that is rampant for our aging and elderly population.
Quickly others
from Florida, Canada, Washington, California
and others began to promote and
support the "Gray Ribbon" Campaign.
These initial supporters have joined together to
create a unified effort to bring the
"Gray Ribbon' idea to all that we can.

The Motley Crew" we call ourselves
as we have all had diverse backgrounds
and experiences that ultimately brought us together.
For us
the Gray Ribbon
symbolizes the love, concern, understanding and support
that we have in bringing these issues to light.
The "Graying With Grace,
A Ribbon Runs Through It" Campaign
began as a "Call" for families and others to stand
and have the courage to tell their stories.
It began
as a plea for "zero tolerance"
with less than top-quality care for our elderly loved ones.
It began
to let others know that when they
unfortunately face a crisis
concerning abuse, neglect, exploitation and fraud
there are others of us
who care and
will support them in their efforts
to bring to light what they have seen.

The "Graying With Grace, A Ribbon Runs Through It"
is a message of hope and encouragement.

Please join us in these efforts by
